30 Questions Journalists Should Be Asking About Skripal Case

There are a lot of issues around the case of Sergei and Yulia Skripal which, at the time of writing, are very unclear and rather odd. There may well be good and innocent explanations for some or even all of them. Then again there may not. This is why it is crucial for questions to be asked where, as yet, there are either no answers or deeply unsatisfactory ones.

Retired FBI agent guilty of sex abuse Was bureau's chief of internal affairs

The alleged bomber Mark Anthony Conditt makes remarks on social media in 2012 about how a sex offender should not have to register after he has done his time.
Is this person related to former FBI official John H. Conditt?

By Associated Press | February 18, 2004

WASHINGTON -- The former chief internal watchdog at the FBI has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl and has admitted he had a history of molesting other children before he joined the bureau for what became a two-decade career.

John H. Conditt Jr., 53, who retired in 2001, was sentenced last week in Tarrant County Court in Fort Worth to 12 years in prison after he admitted he molested the daughter of two FBI agents after he retired. He acknowledged molesting at least two other girls before he began his law enforcement career, his lawyer said.

Conditt sought treatment for sex offenders after his arrest last year, said his attorney, Toby Goldsmith.

The Untold Story of My Lai: How and Why the Official Investigation Covered Up General Westmoreland’s Responsibility

Fifty years ago this month, on March 16, 1968, two companies of US Army troops belonging to the Americal Division entered the My Lai and My Khe hamlets of Son My village, in Quang Ngai province, and killed 504 Vietnamese civilians – overwhelmingly women, children, and old men – in cold blood. The national press and political elites have long learned to treat the massacre as a tragedy that did not reflect official US policy. And ever since the Peers Commission report on My Lai was finally released to the public in November 1974 (the completed report had been transmitted to the Army chief of staff in March 1970), the press and public have believed that the commission, led by Lieut. Gen. William Peers, not only revealed the extent of the massacre but exposed the cover-up, implicating officers all the way up to the commander of the Americal Division, Gen. Samuel Koster.

Russiagate Comes to England

I don’t know what happened in Salisbury England on March 4th, but it appears that the British government doesn’t know either. Prime Minister Theresa May’s speech before Parliament last Monday was essentially political, reflecting demands that she should “do something” in response to the mounting hysteria over the poisoning of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia. After May’s presentation there were demands from Parliamentarians for harsh measures against Russia, reminiscent of the calls for action emanating from the U.S. Congress over the allegations relating to what has been called Russiagate.

Facebook Sent Auditors to Ensure Cambridge Analytica Wasn't Hiding User Data. The U.K. Said 'Get Out'

Facebook failed in an attempt to get a handle on the Cambridge Analytica scandal Monday, after British authorities ordered its auditors to vacate the political consultancy’s offices.

Over the weekend, reports claimed that Cambridge Analytica had bought data on tens of millions of Facebook users that had been extracted from the social network by an academic named Aleksander Kogan. Kogan did so using a personality quiz app, and claimed at the time that the data would just be used for academic purposes, not for targeting voters with tailored messaging.

Facebook apparently knew about the data abuse in 2015, and said it had gained assurances from Cambridge Analytica that the data had been deleted. The weekend reports stated that this was not the case, so Facebook on Monday said it was sending its auditors to Cambridge Analytica’s offices.

Facebook's stock drops AGAIN as thousands vow to quit the social network amid Cambridge Analytica row which saw 51 MILLION users profiles harvested without their knowledge - but Zuckerberg is nowhere to be seen

Facebook's stock plummeted again on Tuesday as the row over how Cambridge Analytica, a political data firm, obtained the data of 51 million users by harvesting profiles on the social network without their knowledge.

The social network's stock opened on the NASDAQ at $167.47 on Tuesday marking a decrease of 2.8% since Monday's close.

It climbed back up to $170 on Tuesday throughout trading but closed at 4pm at $168.15 after dropping as low as $162 per share during the day, its lowest in 2018.

Zuckerberg's own stocks - of which there are 400 million - fell by $6billion in market value as a result of the scandal, dropping from $74billion to $68billion.

Until Friday, Facebook's shares were worth $185.09 each. The company is valued at $488 billion.

BEX ALERT - May’s crackdown on Putin ‘hampered by wealth Russians in UK’

Mrs May announced last week plans to expel 23 Russia diplomats over the nerve-agent attack on former double agent Sergei Skripal and daughter Yulia in Salisbury on March 4.

Russia has repeatedly denied any involvement as tensions between Moscow and London soar as the Prime Minister takes a hard line over the attack.

Nigel Gould-Davies, an associate fellow in the Russia and Eurasia program at the Chatham House think tank, warned Mrs May's options are limited as a result the high number of wealthy Russians living in the UK and the consequent benefits for the UK’s economy.

Mr Gould-Davies said: “Russia is a skilful and growing threat to the UK, yet Russia's elite uses the UK, like no other country, to legitimate and protect its wealth.

Cambridge Analytica’s Facebook MI6 Psyop

If ever there was smoking gun evidence as to who is behind the constant manipulation of global geopolitics, it is the emerging scandal involving Facebook & Cambridge Analytica. The case unravels the Gordian knot which binds British and Israeli intelligence in the service of the City of London bankers.

I have long contended that Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook is an Israeli Mossad intelligence operation designed to gather a dossier on every person on the planet while destroying both the social fabric necessary to challenge banking hegemony via disinformation, division and conflict creation; and the emotional well-being of humanity through cleverly orchestrated psychological warfare.

The 15th anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq has evoked many inconvenient memories for America – including the fact that Russiagate heartthrob Robert Mueller lied about Iraq’s WMDs, paving the way for war.

Currently serving as the head of an “independent” investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, Mueller wasn’t always hailed by liberals as a brave crusader for democracy and truth. Actually, the liberal love affair with Mueller is a rather recent phenomenon.

Britain may be behind attack on Skripal's daughter: Russia foreign ministry

A Russian Foreign Ministry official said Wednesday that Britain may be behind a chemical attack on Yulia Skripal, daughter of former Russian spy Sergei Skripal.

"Logic suggests that there are only two possible things," Vladimir Yermakov, head of the ministry's non-proliferation and arms control department, told a meeting with foreign ambassadors based in Moscow.

"Either the British authorities are not able to provide protection from such a, let's say, terrorist attack on their soil, or they, whether directly or indirectly, I am not accusing anyone, have orchestrated an attack on a Russian citizen", Yermakov said.

False flags are staged events covertly planned and executed by one state or group which, by impersonating another state or group, incriminates the other in a terrible attack. A Majority In New Poll: ‘Deep State Is Manipulating Policy’

The Monmouth University Polling Institute found that 74% of Americans believe that the “deep state” is manipulating public policy unelected and behind the scenes. Only 21% don’t think the deep state exists.

Those numbers are compelling considering the mainstream media’s very obvious attempt to get everyone to believe that the deep state is a figment of the imagination. The poll also interestingly indicates that those in every single political group, republicans, democrats, and independents, all believe the deep state is manipulating the government. “We usually expect opinions on the operation of government to shift depending on which party is in charge,” Monmouth University Polling Institute Director Patrick Murray said in a statement. “But there’s an ominous feeling by Democrats and Republicans alike that a ‘Deep State’ of unelected operatives are pulling the levers of power.”

The Denial Of The Right To An Opinion – Britain’s Inexorable Slide Into Fascism

The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, stated outright “There is no alternative to the conclusion that Russia was responsible.” This was an order, not a statement of fact. An order to step in line and not court controversy.

It capped months of hysterical anti-Russian rhetoric and vilification, which in more ways than one, strongly echoed the George Bush and Tony Blair tirades of 9/11/2001. Tirades deliberately directed to make Saddam Hussein fit the role of the number one villain of that particular moment of time, as the unquestionable holder of non-existent ‘weapons of mass destruction.’ Now Putin is being given the 9/11 treatment. A chilling reminder that this is a repeat of a direct incitement to war.
...Quite secure in inciting arguments that the Country should be prepared to go to war with this ‘Russian monster’, all because some obscure Soviet double agent had been poisoned with a nasty organophosphate product on British soil.

ProPublica Corrects Its Story On Trump's CIA Nominee Gina Haspel And Waterboarding

ProPublica is retracting parts of its story that linked Gina Haspel, President Trump's choice to lead the CIA, with the waterboarding of Abu Zubaydah, a suspected al-Qaida leader who was held at a secret "black site" prison in Thailand in 2002. The investigative newsroom cited new clarifications from CIA insiders as the reason for its correction. It also issued an apology.

From ProPublica:

"We at ProPublica hold government officials responsible for their missteps, and we must be equally accountable.

"This error was particularly unfortunate because it muddied an important national debate about Haspel and the CIA's recent history. To her, and to our readers, we can only apologize, correct the record and make certain that we do better in the future."

The London Times reported on March 14th that 40 people in Salisbury needed treatment because of poisoning. The onslaught of western Russia bashing in the past days, particularly since the alleged poison attack by a Soviet-era nerve agent, Novichok (the inventor of which, by the way, lives in the US), on a Russian double agent, Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, has been just horrifying. Especially by the UK. Starting with PM May, who outright accused Russia of using chemical weapons (CW) on UK grounds, without delivering any evidence. Strangely, there is no indication where Skripal and his daughter are, in which hospital the pair is being treated, no poison analysis is being published, they cannot be visited; there is absolutely no evidence of the substance they allegedly have been poisoned with – do Sergei and Yulia actually exist as victims of a poison attack?

Western Media Putin Bashing Following His Electoral Triumph

China’s Xi Jinping congratulated Putin for his overwhelming reelection triumph. So did Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro and Bolivia’s Evo Morales.

Ahead of Sunday voting, London’s Guardian shamefully accused him of “stealing the Russian election,” adding Russia’s process “is an election in name only…a sham and a smokescreen…to confer democratic respectability on to a corrupt oligarchy.”

Scandalous remarks, the Guardian not alone. Other Western media turned truth on its head trashing Russia’s democratic process, calling Putin authoritarian, a dictator and other pejoratives.

Euronews cited convicted embezzler/Putin critic/Western favorite Alexey Navalny disinformation claims of ballot box stuffing, repeat voting and other (nonexistent) irregularities.

Merkel Claims Russia Must Prove Non-Involvement in Skripal Poisoning Case

Russia must prove that it has nothing with poisoning of ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter in the UK city of Salisbury, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said.

Skripal and his daughter Yulia were found unconscious earlier in March on a bench at a shopping center in Salisbury, England. Both of them remain in a critical condition and are being treated for exposure to a chemical. The incident has already resulted in a diplomatic crisis in the Russian-UK relations.

“We believe that there is strong evidence that Russia is involved in that [incident] and now Russia must prove that this is not true,” Merkel said on Monday after talks with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Evidence before accusations: Austria asks for full-fledged Skripal investigation

It’s premature to pin the blame in the Skripal poisoning case without first conducting a proper investigation, Austria’s foreign minister has said. The UK has already picked Russia as a boogey man in the incident.

Speaking in Brussels on Monday, Karin Kneissl said that she viewed the poisoning of former double-agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter in Salisbury, England, as “abhorrent.” However, unlike its British counterparts, Austria wants to have the full picture before casting blame on someone specifically.

"Our position is: First there is the need to establish a full picture of events in joint cooperation with the Chemical agency [Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)] and all those involved” the foreign minister said.

How Many Children Died In School Shootings In 2016-2017?

As information compiled by Michael Medved producer Greg Tomlin shows, in the years 2016 and 2017, at K-12 schools in America, of the 51 million students enrolled, there were seven children killed. That is seven human lives snuffed out, and the agony of the families who suffered the loss is incalculable, but seven is far less than one would suppose from the media coverage, which has misleadingly claimed that there were 18 school shootings in January alone.

Three students were killed in 2016; four in 2017, as totaled from the website

One example of how facts get skewed: in one instance, a shooting was deemed a "school shooting" because a person who lived near a school went on a rampage and shot five people in the neighborhood. The school was placed on lockdown, but no student was killed, yet it is still listed as a “school shooting.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

According to the Journal of Patient Safety, medical mistakes kill between 210,000 and 440,000 patients every single year. Why isn't the media screaming about that?

3 people were injured in a shooting at a Maryland high school, officials say

Three people were injured in a shooting at Great Mills High School in Maryland on Tuesday morning, according to Andrew Ponti, an official with the St. Mary's County public information office.

There are no fatalities reported at this time, Ponti said. It's unclear if the shooter is among the injured, he said.

The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office responded to the shooting and said the event has been contained. The school was on lockdown for a brief time but students are now being evacuated from Great Mills High School to a reunification center at a nearby high school, the school district said.

Channeling Goebbels: Guardian goes full fascist in its portrayal of Putin

In early 1935, the Nazis unleashed an anti-Bolshevik campaign which it initiated with a series of traveling exhibits on the dangers of world Communism. Parkland Survivor To Trump: 'Show Us That You Aren't Owned By The NRA'

Two student survivors of last month’s deadly shooting at a Parkland, Florida, high school are urging President Donald Trump to break his ties with the National Rifle Association and live up to his pledge to push for stricter U.S. gun laws.

In a Monday interview with CNN, David Hogg and Alfonso Calderon expressed disappointment over the White House’s new gun and school safety proposals, which include arming teachers to help prevent future on-campus shootings. But dropped from the plan was Trump’s call to raise the legal age for buying certain firearms ? including semi-automatic rifles ? from 18 to 21 years old.

Trump endorsed changing the age requirement last month during a bipartisan meeting with lawmakers at the White House in the wake of the Florida shooting in which the suspected gunman used a semi-automatic rifle. The NRA, however, quickly came out against the age proposal.

The anti-Russia scandal whipped up by the United Kingdom around the case of former GRU military intelligence colonel Sergei Skripal has a connection to Syria, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Rossiya’24 TV channel on Saturday.

Things Must Be Serious, Everyone’s Lying

European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker had a moment of clarity once. He famously said, “When things get serious, you have to lie.”

Given the state of affairs in his beloved European Union right now Mr. Juncker and company are doing a lot of lying.

It is rare in politics to get that kind of honesty from a politician, especially one currently in office. But, Juncker’s statement shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who is even a semi-serious political observer.

It’s why I find it funny that the Democrats and Antifa-Left get so bent out of shape when Donald Trump exaggerates or outright lies. To him it’s a tactic. Catching Donald Trump in a falsehood is like trying to ladle water with a sieve.
So, by the Juncker Maxim, things must be getting very serious because the amount and type of lies being thrown around by people who are supposed to know better have been staggering.

The farcical reality behind Theresa May’s “novichok” story

Her narrative remains, as of March 15, bald and unconvincing. But it seems things may be about to get even worse for her and what some see as her bid to “Falklandise” her flagging premiership.
