THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

"From the days of Spartacus--Weishaupt to those of Karl Marx, and down to Trotsky (Russia), Bela Kun (Hungary), Rosa Luxembourg (Germany), and Emma Goldman (United States), this world--wide conspiracy for the overthrow of civilisation and for the reconstitution of society on the basis of arrested development, of envious malevolence, and impossible equality, has been steadily growing. It played, as a modern writer, Mrs. Webster, has so ably shown, a definitely recognisable part in the tragedy of the French Revolution. It has been the mainspring of every subversive movement during the Nineteenth Century; and now at last this band of extraordinary personalities from the underworld of the great cities of Europe and America have gripped the Russian people by the hair of their heads and have become practically the undisputed masters of that enormous empire." -- Winston Churchill,"Zionism versus Bolshevism", Illustrated Sunday Herald (London), February 8, 1920, pg. 5

Seth Rich’s Ghost Haunts the Courts

As if it weren’t enough of a downer for Russiagate true believers that no Trump-Russia collusion was found, federal judges are now demanding proof that Russia hacked into the DNC in the first place.

It is shaping up to be a significant challenge to the main premise of the shaky syllogism that ends with “Russia did it.”

If you’re new to this website, grab onto something, as the following may come as something of a shock. Not only has there never been any credible evidence to support the claim of Russian cyber interference, there has always been a simple alternative explanation that involves no “hacking” at all – by Russia or anyone else.

Russian Fighter Jet Chases Off NATO Fighter Over Baltic Sea

Russian state media showed a video of a mid-air confrontation over the Baltic Sea, where a Russian Su-27 fighter chased away a NATO F-18 that was moving toward a passenger plane.

NATO moved against the passenger aircraft when it was over the Baltic Sea after leaving Kaliningrad and heading toward Moscow. The plane contained Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shogu. The F-18 was from Spain, but operating out of Lithuania.

This is the second time a NATO fighter moved after a plane Shogu was on. Fortunately for Shogu, Russia keeps fighters in the area to protect high-ranking officials’ flights, and the Su-27 got into the area near the NATO plane, forcing it off.

Epstein's Death May Be A "Turning Point In The Public's Willingness To Accept Official Bullshit"

The only trouble with the conspiracy theory that hundreds of prominent and powerful people wanted Jeffrey Epstein dead is that Jeffrey Epstein might have wanted Jeffrey Epstein dead even more than they did. But that’s mere conjecture. His mind is beyond being read. Of course, the evidence of his alleged crimes didn’t die — the “meticulous” records he kept live on, along with the names of Mr. Epstein’s patrons, clients, marks, however you might classify the celebs drawn into the pulsating estrogenic bubble of his life, humming that old tune “Thank Heaven for Little Girls….”

Criticism After Church of England Cathedral Erects Helter Skelter in Nave

A Church of England cathedral has come under criticism for erecting a helter skelter inside its nave, with a senior cleric condemning it as “blasphemous” and a “mockery” of God and Christian martyrs who died for their faith.

The 55-foot vintage fairground ride was erected in the nave of the 11th-century Norwich cathedral this week and will remain in use until August 18th, allegedly to give visitors a unique view of the holy structure’s roof and stonework, and costs £2 a ride.

The Very Reverend Jane Hedges, dean of Norwich cathedral, said that the installation was “certainly not a gimmick”, telling the BBC that “it’s fun, but about really serious matters in trying to get people to think about the meaning of life”.

Authorities reviewed whether first responder posted about Epstein death on 4chan before official announcement

The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) said it reviewed a 4chan post purporting to be from a first responder detailing the death of accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein more than 30 minutes before it was made public, BuzzFeed News reported.

"The FDNY reviewed the alleged information and determined it did not come from the Department," FDNY spokesman Frank Dwyer told The Hill on Tuesday.

Dwyer emphasized that "at no time was there an investigation" into the information and called BuzzFeed's initial story "inaccurate."

The outlet issued a correction Tuesday noting that the department conducted a "review" instead of a more formal "investigation" into the information.

Military Source Confirms Terrorists Down Syrian Air Force Jet in Idlib

Syrian government forces said earlier this month that they were resuming military operations in the provinces of Idlib and Hama, citing the militants' refusal to observe a ceasefire deal, which had gone into effect on 1 August, by launching several attacks on civilians in nearby areas.

Syria's state television reported Wednesday, citing a military source, that militants operating in the province of Idlib shot down a Syrian air force plane and the fate of the pilot reportedly remains unknown.

"One of our military aircraft, whose task was to destroy headquarters of the Nusra Front terrorist group in the al-Tamania area, was shot down on 14 August by a missile launched by terrorists from armed groups operating in the region", the source said, cited by Syria TV television.

Astronomers studying ALIEN radio signals discover 8 NEW sources, one from nearby galaxy

Astronomers studying Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs), some of the rarest and most enigmatic phenomena in deep space, have detected eight new repeating signals, which could hold the key to solving where exactly they come from.

While these curious signals are alien in origin, no one should be expecting little green men contacting their friends in Area 51 about the allegedly impending September raid. We currently don’t know what these bursts are or what causes them, though some suspect they may be the death rattles of neutron stars or young magnetars, extremely dense star cores spinning in a magnetic field.

German far-right leader Andreas Kalbitz is poised to triumph in state elections despite controversy over extremist past attending a neo-Nazi youth event and being member of group which downplayed the Holocaust

Andreas Kalbitz, 46, who leads the party in the eastern state of Brandenburg, said on Tuesday that 'one could accuse me of right-wing extremist connections, but certainly not of having far-right extremist biography.'

With some polls showing Alternative for Germany coming first in next month's state elections in Brandenburg, Kalbitz has faced scrutiny over his past views.

Gideon Botsch, a political scientist at the University of Potsdam, said Kalbitz was 'very clearly rooted in the right-wing extremist scene' from a young age.

FBI 'indifferent' to possible China hack of Hillary Clinton's server, as State Department fought to protect her, interviews suggest

Interviews with intelligence community officials have revealed that senior FBI leaders "seemed indifferent to evidence of a possible intrusion by a foreign adversary" into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s non-government email server, and that State Department officials allegedly sought to "downgrade classified material found on the server," according to Senate investigators still probing the matter.

The information was contained in a letter and interview transcripts sent Monday by the majority staff on the Senate Finance and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committees to senior Senate Republicans including Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. The letter also noted that “neither the committees nor the FBI were able to confirm whether an intrusion into the server occurred."

Mysterious ‘secret drawings’ by Leonardo da Vinci found hidden beneath famous painting

It uncovered Leonardo's initial designs for the angel and the infant Christ, with "significant differences to how they look in the finished painting", experts said.

Experts spent months using imaging techniques on the "abandoned" 1508 composition.

"Both figures are positioned higher up in the drawing, while the angel, facing out, is looking down on the infant Christ with what appears to be a much tighter embrace," the National Gallery said.

"Pesticide Cheerleader": EPA Rebukes California With Ban On Warning Labels For Bayer's Roundup

President Donald Trump's Environmental Protection Agency was accused of being a pesticide "cheerleader" last week after the agency said it would not approval labels that say that glyphosate — the active ingredient in Roundup and other weedkillers — is known to cause cancer.

In a statement released Thursday announcing the move, the EPA dug in on its assertion that glyphosate does not cause cancer, though critics have said that is "an industry-friendly conclusion that's simply not based on the best available science."

The new guidance takes aim at California's 2017 move, in adherence with its Proposition 65, to add glyphosate to its list of chemicals known to cause cancer and require warning labels. The state cited the World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer 2015 assessment that glyphosate is "probably carcinogenic to humans."
