The Turkish invasion of Rojava

Very interesting article. Maybe Trump and Putin should share The Nobel Peace Prize.
by Thierry Meyssan

While the international community publicly fears the brutality of the Turkish intervention in northern Syria, it unofficially welcomes this intervention as the one and only solution to bring peace to the region. The war against Syria ends with one more crime. The fate of Idleb’s foreign mercenaries, the rabid jihadists during eight years of a particularly savage and cruel war, has yet to be determined.

The international press, which has not followed the events on the ground and has been satisfied with the contradictory official statements of recent months, is astounded. All states in unison denounce the Turkish operation, including the United States, Russia, Israel, Iran and Syria, although they have all negotiated and validated it.

Painting Over George Washington

The energetic campaign, on campus and off, to promote “diversity” as the greatest of American civic goods has many hands and fingers: probing, pointing, squeezing, exhorting. Those perpetually busy with the task of dismantling our memories as a people are the most ludicrous of the lot.

That’s the problem. Invitations to ridicule the ridiculous can obscure how decidedly un-funny are the implications of allowing American history to be portrayed as a saga of oppression and injustice. The project of retelling our story in such a way as to embarrass and appall us is, not to put a particularly fine point on it, robustly malignant. It deserves widespread recognition as such. Equally it deserves concerted pushback. Maybe that’s coming, because the malignancy has spread.

California Can Expect Blackouts For A Decade, Says PG&E CEO

The CEO of Pacific Gas & Electric Corp. told California energy regulators that the state will likely see blackouts for another 10 years like the one imposed last week that left as many as 800,000 customers without power.

The revelation by corporation CEO Bill Johnson came Friday at a California Public Utilities Commission meeting at which he said his company is trying to reduce the chances of wildfires by trimming more trees and using technology to target smaller areas of the grid when fire dangers require power outages.

But Johnson said it could take 10 years before such outages are "really ratcheted down significantly."

"I Stand Against Everything She Represents" - Gabbard Hammers Tired, Sick, Fragile Hillary

Tulsi Gabbard has stones. She has the kind of stones born of a life dedicated to the cause of serving others.

She is the direct opposite of Hillary Clinton, for whom all causes serve herself and her enormous narcissism and pathology.

So seeing Gabbard go directly after Hillary Clinton after her debate performance the other evening where she explicitly called out both the New York Times and CNN (the hosts of the debate) for the hit jobs on her puts to rest any idea she’s someone else’s stalking horse.

Scientists Detect Movement on Major California Fault for First Time

A major California fault has begun shifting, and may be capable of producing an 8.0 temblor, according to scientists.
The movement is “a result of this year’s Ridgecrest earthquake sequence destabilizing nearby faults,” according to a study released Thursday by scientists at the California Institute of Technology.

The article stated:

The period of seismic quiescence in Southern California was rudely interrupted by the Ridgecrest earthquake sequence in July 2019. Ross et al. mapped the slip sequences during the magnitude 6.4 and 7.1 earthquakes that shook the region. They found that ruptures of a few larger, but many smaller, faults occurred during both earthquakes. The Ridgecrest sequence calls for rethinking seismic hazard, as multifault ruptures are not usually considered when assessing seismic risk.

Ready to Pay $30,000 for Sharing a Photo Online? The House of Representatives Thinks You Are.

By Ernesto Falcon

Tomorrow the House of Representatives has scheduled to vote on what appears to be an unconstitutional copyright bill that carries with it life altering penalties. The bill would slap $30,000 fines on Internet users who share a copyrighted work they don’t own online.

Supporters of the bill insist there’s no problem, because $30,000 isn’t that much money. They even laughed about it. We know the reality: when nearly half of this country would struggle to afford an emergency $400 expense, the penalties in this bill are deadly serious. What’s worse, they’ll be imposed not by an experienced judge, but instead by a committee of unaccountable bureaucrats...

Vatican cash crisis: Sex abuse scandals are 'driving away donations and have lost the Holy See €44m in a year'

The Vatican is rapidly losing money with donations plummeting as sex abuse scandals damage the Catholic Church's reputation, according to a new book.

Gianluigi Nuzzi writes that the Vatican lost nearly €44million (£38million) last year while its property empire made a loss for the first time.

The Italian journalist, whom the Vatican attempted to put on trial for publishing leaked secrets in 2016, said attempted reforms by Pope Francis were being 'anaesthetised, blocked and sabotaged' by Vatican insiders.

In the book, Universal Judgment, he claims that the Vatican faces a possible default on its debts by 2023, according to The Times.

Prince Andrew joined in an orgy with Jeffrey Epstein and nine girls at billionaire paedophile's private island, accuser claims in court papers

A new TV documentary is set to re-examine claims Prince Andrew joined in an orgy with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and nine young women.

Virginia Roberts, now Virginia Giuffre, made the allegation - which the Prince vehemently denies - in court papers in 2015.

Now a new investigation by Channel 4's Dispatches has re-examined the court papers and looked at Ms Roberts' medical records from around the time she says she was abused.

The programme cites a court deposition made in January 2015 as part of a defamation case brought by Epstein's former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, where she states that the 'third time' she had 'sex with Andy' was 'in an orgy on Epstein's private island in the US Virgin Islands'.

She said she was 18 at the time and that 'approximately eight other young girls, and I had sex together'.

Fury as 'poor man's Cromwell' Speaker John Bercow BLOCKS Boris Johnson from holding a 'meaningful' vote on his Brexit deal today - as PM faces desperate battle with MPs tomorrow to get legislation through Commons for 'do or die' Halloween date

Speaker John Bercow today sparked fury by blocking Boris Johnson's latest bid to trigger a vote on his Brexit deal.

MPs denied the PM 'in principle' approval for his deal over the weekend, instead postponing the showdown and obliging him to ask the EU for an extension.

And in his latest dramatic intervention in the Brexit process this afternoon, Mr Bercow turned down a fresh effort to stage the vote.

Tories accused the Speaker - who is meant to be an independent referee on Parliamentary rules - of 'sabotage' to stop Brexit, branding him a 'poor man's Cromwell'.

Ms. Pumpkin Head for President: A Nightmare

A few weeks ago I had a terrifying nightmare, so gruesome was it that I awoke screaming and had to run to the bathroom to vomit in the toilet. In this dark horror show, I was carving a pumpkin for Halloween. The cap came off easily and I disemboweled the slimy interior quickly, but as I did, I felt a strange sensation on my hand, as if a tongue were biting it. When I was finishing carving the face, however, the trouble really started. The pumpkin head came alive as the eyes and mouth moved and then it started speaking in a voice that was familiar but one I couldn’t place. Blond hair started sprouting from its head as it started shrieking and bouncing on the table in an hysterical manner. I jumped back in fear and trembling as it started cackling, “I running, I running.” Blood ran from between the carved teeth and the blue eyes pulsated with the mania of a serial killer in a horror movie.

I awoke with a scream when I realized it was Hillary Clinton.

David Ripley: Sickening New Details About Planned Parenthood’s Trafficking Emerge

The trial going on in San Francisco is reminding America about the whole Planned Parenthood baby parts trafficking scheme. While the judge in this case is going to great lengths to shield the Abortion Industry from public scrutiny – details are seeping out of the courtroom.

Here is a new and sickening fact for you: Planned Parenthood clinics are selling the scalps of freshly-killed babies for profit; companies are buying the scalps to test products for treating baldness.

Let that sink in for a minute. Please.

Barbra Streisand Tweets Disgusting Cartoon of Pelosi Killing Trump with Her Heel

Apparently, retweeting a cartoon showing the violent death of the president is totally cool under the current president. Just ask Barbra Streisand.

Streisand, better known these days as a liberal personage than as an entertainer, apparently thinks that Nancy Pelosi’s getting the best of her current showdown with President Donald Trump. Fair enough. There are plenty of appropriate ways to express one’s joy over this.

One way you probably shouldn’t — at least when you’re talking about the president being involved — is a political cartoon showing Trump being impaled on Pelosi’s high heels.

The Army Is Building A Cannon Capable Of Firing From Nashville To NYC

The U.S. national defense budget is one of the most bloated in the world, with funding exceeding $1 trillion as the Pentagon and defense industry-friendly politicians seek to secure the unquestioned dominance of the U.S. Armed Forces across the globe.

However, advances in the military-technical field by U.S. rivals like China and Russia - who have each developed advanced hypersonic deterrent weapons - have gripped U.S. war-planners with a feeling of insecurity over the state of the U.S. military’s overstocked arsenals, as well as a nagging sense that U.S. power is on the long-term decline.

Mysterious newly discovered virus DEFIES EVOLUTION, current scientific understanding

While sifting through pig feces, as you do, researchers from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) came across a virus which defied everything we thought we knew about the infectious agents.

“The recombinant virus we found in this study has no structural proteins,” says virologist Tetsuya Mizutani from TUAT about the strain of a type of enterovirus G (EV-G) the team encountered. “This means the recombinant virus cannot make a viral particle.”

This particular "defective variant" of the virus the team uncovered lacked even the limited protein container found in other viruses, and instead merely had "flanking genes" in its structure. This means that the virus would not be able to invade a host on its own, which begs the question: how on Earth does it survive?

The Big One: Fear of catastrophic quake grows in California as dormant fault line moves for 1st time in 500yrs

Caltech researchers say there is an elevated risk that a long-overdue earthquake, dubbed the ‘Big One,’ is on the way, after recent seismic activity shifted a previously-dormant fault line for the first time in 500 years.

California was rocked by several major earthquakes in July and August. The Ridgecrest earthquake in Southern California was the strongest in 20 years and caused roughly 100,000 aftershocks. All of the pressure from these tremors and aftershocks was so extreme that it apparently woke a sleeping giant in the form of the 185-mile-long Garlock Fault, causing it to ‘creep’ almost an inch (a big deal in geological terms if nothing else).

“This is surprising because we’ve never seen the Garlock Fault do anything. Here, all of a sudden, it changed behaviour,” said Zachary Ross, assistant professor of geophysics at Caltech and an author of a study on the fault.

The Kurds may well have ‘no friends but the mountains’, but they do have Israel

There is an old saying that “the Kurds have no friends but the mountains”. Poetic, poignant and tragic; but not quite true. Despite the mainstream Western media lamenting the latest “betrayal” of Kurdish allies by the US government, there has been one ally who has had a consistent relationship with the Kurds: Israel.

The War on Truth: How Israel’s social media trolls conquered Facebook

On October 9, the social media platform, Facebook, deleted the page of the popular Palestinian news website, the Palestinian Information Center (PIC). This act, which was carried out without even contacting the page administrators, confirms that Facebook’s war on pro-Palestine voices is continuing unabated.

PIC had nearly five million followers on Facebook, a testament to its popularity and credibility among a large cross section of Palestinians and their supporters internationally. For Israel’s trolls on social media, PIC was simply too effective to be allowed to spread its message. As usual, Facebook obliged.

Protests erupt in Hezbollah's heartland of south Lebanon, despite intimidation

Under the bright sun and facing the sea, over 2,000 protesters gathered on Sunday in Sour, a coastal city in south Lebanon known in English as Tyre. The mood was cheerful, people came with friends and family, all carrying a Lebanese flag.

“The people want the fall of the regime,” they chanted to music.

Protesters are here for the fourth day in a row. Like in the rest of the country, the mobilisation started on Thursday night after the government announced it would impose a $0.20 daily tax on internet calls from apps such as WhatsApp.

Civil Unrest Is Erupting All Over The World, But Just Wait Until The United States Joins The Party…

All over the globe, the mood is turning sour. Anger and frustration are bubbling over, and protests are becoming violent in major cities all across the planet. In some cases economic pain is driving the protests and in other cases political matters are motivating the protesters, and it has been a very long time since we have seen so many angry protests happening all over the world simultaneously. Unfortunately, many believe that what we have seen so far is just the beginning.

Global economic conditions are rapidly deteriorating, and as economic pain intensifies that is only going to make everyone more frustrated. And here in the United States, the drama surrounding the potential impeachment of Donald Trump is going to greatly escalate the political tensions that are already deeply dividing this country. No matter how things turn out, a large percentage of the population is likely to be deeply frustrated with the result, and that could very easily lead to tremendous civil unrest.

Tulsi Gabbard Is Right, and Nancy Pelosi Wrong. It Was US Democrats Who Helped Cultivate the Barbarism of Isis

There is something profoundly deceitful in the way the Democratic Party and the corporate media are framing Donald Trump’s decision to pull troops out of Syria.

One does not need to defend Trump’s actions or ignore the dangers posed to the Kurds, at least in the short term, by the departure of US forces from northern Syria to understand that the coverage is being crafted in such a way as to entirely overlook the bigger picture.

The problem is neatly illustrated in this line from a report by the Guardian newspaper of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s meeting this week with Trump, who is described as having had a “meltdown”. Explaining why she and other senior Democrats stormed out, the paper writes that “it became clear the president had no plan to deal with a potential revival of Isis in the Middle East”.

Ukrainian Official: Hunter Biden Appointed to Burisma’s Board to ‘Protect’ the Company

A Ukrainian official is claiming that Hunter Biden was only appointed to the board of directors of Burisma Holdings to “protect” the company at a time it faced foreign scrutiny over its business practices.

Oleksandr Onyshchenko, a former member of the Ukrainian parliament and ally of Burisma’s founder, made the admission to Reuters on Friday when discussing Hunter Biden’s ties to the oil and natural gas company.

“It was to protect (the company)” Onyshchenko said, noting that Hunter Biden’s appointment came the same month that Mykola Zlochevsky, Burisma’s founder, had his assets frozen in Great Britain under suspicion of money laundering.

Tulsi Gabbard versus the Bloodthirsty Sociopath Hillary Clinton

The one Democratic candidate with a glimmer of sanity on foreign policy is being vilified, marginalized and destroyed by the deep state and their complaisant and compliant establishment regime media.

They want Tulsi Gabbard dead, drowning in the blood from their forever “regime change” wars.

No one is permitted to voice any position stressing a semblance of peace, non-intervention, and resolution of conflicts by prudential diplomacy.

The bloodthirsty sociopath Hillary Clinton and her coterie of craven Democrats are the War Party and wholly subservient to the military industrial complex and its intelligence/national security adjuncts.

In their blind, mad dog enthusiastic zeal for wanton indiscriminate destruction, they are the vicious equals of terrorists such as Al Qaeda or ISIS.

Steve Bannon says Trump may be impeached ‘in six weeks,’ face challenge from Bloomberg, Clinton

Impeachment is a “mortal threat” to Donald Trump’s presidency and the White House needs to start taking it more seriously, former chief strategist Steve Bannon told The Post.

“This is serious. As sure as the turning of the earth, he is going to be impeached by Pelosi in the next six weeks,” Bannon said during a wide-ranging interview with The Post. “Nancy Pelosi is very focused.”

And if Trump makes it out of a House impeachment probe alive, the 65-year-old ex-Breitbart News chairman says the president may have to face surprising — and viable — challengers in 2020 in Mike Bloomberg or Hillary Clinton.

Report: De Blasio Used City Hall Staff On POTUS Campaign

The press in New York City continues to pick through the carcass of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s failed presidential campaign and they’re still finding some interesting tidbits. (The national press isn’t showing much interest, likely because Hizzoner never got above zero percent in the polls.) One of the first things we learned was that the Mayor hired his son Dante and one of his college buddies to work on his staff as policy analysts, both earning an admirable salary.
