Israel’s second lockdown imposed by the government is being ignored by the citizenry. Eventually, people get tired of being dictated to and make the decision to live freely without fear of consequences.

This should be a lesson for all countries who attempt a second lockdown. Israel is learning that freezing a nation in place is even more difficult the second time around and too many are flat our ignoring the dictates of government in exchange for making their own decisions, consequences be damned.

74% of families with children making less than $100,000 have “experienced serious financial problems” during this crisis

As you will see below, millions of Americans missed their rent or mortgage payments last month, millions missed their student loan payments, and millions are falling into poverty.  The economic downturn that was sparked by the coronavirus pandemic has stretched on far longer than most people originally anticipated, and many Americans are simply running out of money at this point.  In fact, one survey that was conducted not too long ago found that 40 percent of all households have “used up all or most of their savings” and 74 percent of families with children that make less than $100,000 a year have “experienced serious financial problems” during this crisis…

IQ compared by countries

The question of the intelligence of a certain nationality or population may be controversial. In fact, intelligence is influenced by national, political, and geographic factors. Often surprisingly, but scientifically proven, a warmer climate has a markedly bad influence on the intelligence quotient.

With an average IQ of 98 points, the USA ranks 27th in this ranking. With 108 points, the inhabitants of Singapore reach the highest intelligence quotas worldwide. The last place with only 56 points is occupied by Equatorial Guinea.

In addition to the simple ranking of countries, the following table shows the influence of prosperity and climate.

Black Leaders Call on NYPD to Bring Back Anti-Crime Unit as Shootings Spike

Leaders in the black community are calling on the New York Police Department to bring back the plainclothes Anti-Crime Unit that was eliminated last month as shootings and murders spike across the city.

About 600 undercover officers from the unit were set to be transferred to other assignments including detective work and policing neighborhoods, NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea said a month ago. The anti-crime unit, which was responsible for getting guns off the streets, had been criticized as stoking distrust in law enforcement in minority communities.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, one of the African-American voices calling for action on gun violence, criticized the police force’s decision to completely disband the unit. He deplored the recent deadly shooting of a one-year-old, one of the victims of New York City’s recent spike in gun violence.

Dems in Absolute Panic As Early Data Shatters Narrative in Key States

Up until this weekend, the Democratic victory narrative has been this: Dems will outperform in early and mail in voting. Republicans, leerier to mail-in voting, will opt for in person voting and will outperform on election day. However, in the end, the in-person voting will not be enough to overcome the massive early voting numbers by the Democrats.

This weekend that narrative shattered in some key states. It’s absolute panic.

Politico’s lead story today contains this revealing quote about many anxiety-ridden memos in Democratic offices:

Photos: Soyuz launches new station crew with spectacular autumn blastoff

Photos released by Russia’s space agency show the launch of a Soyuz booster Wednesday from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan with two Russian cosmonauts and a NASA astronaut heading for the International Space Station.

The 162-foot-tall (49-meter) Soyuz-2.1a rocket took off from Pad No. 31 at Baikonur at 10:45:04 a.m. local time Wednesday. Liftoff occurred at 0545:04 GMT (1:45:04 a.m. EDT).

The Soyuz rocket’s kerosene-fueled engines generated more than 900,000 pounds of thrust to propel the mission off the launch pad at Baikonur.

Less than 10 minutes later, the Soyuz upper stage deployed the Soyuz MS-17 spacecraft into orbit, kicking off a fast-track, two-orbit rendezvous with the space station. The crew capsule linked up with the Rassvet module on the space station at 4:48 a.m. EDT (0848 GMT).

A Lifetime of Lies, Corruption and Malfeasance: Joe Biden

President Harry Truman said, “You can’t get rich in politics unless you’re a crook.”

After 47 years of lies, corruption and malfeasance, candidate for the presidency, Joe Biden continues to make a mockery of integrity, honesty and decency. He lies so much, he can’t tell the truth from a lie, and he can’t cover them up. He sniffs little girls’ hair and fondles them. You can see it on many YouTube videos. He can’t keep his hands-off young girls or women. He’s still facing rape-attempt charges from one of his aides in Congress, Tara Reade in 1993. How many others didn’t speak up?

And the latest revelation: Biden secured a ‘job’ on a Ukrainian Oil Company board for $50,000.00 a month, when Hunter Biden wouldn’t know an oil well from an erector set. The story broke in the New York Post, but Twitter and Facebook did their best to cover it up.

'Lunar ExoCam' project aims to film spacecraft touchdowns on the moon

We could end up getting an amazing ground-level view of the first crewed moon landing since 1972.

NASA's Flight Opportunities program has just awarded a $650,000 grant to the team behind Lunar ExoCam, an imaging system designed to eject from moon landers during descent and record video of their touchdowns from the otherworldly gray ground.

If development continues to go well, Lunar ExoCam could be ready to fly on some of the private robotic landers that are scheduled to launch toward the moon in the next few years, said the project's principal investigator, Jason Achilles Mezilis. And he'd love to get the camera system aboard NASA's Artemis 3 mission, which aims to land two astronauts near the lunar south pole in 2024.

The strange story of 2020 SO: How an asteroid turned into rocket junk and the NASA scientist who figured it out

As soon as he saw the data, Paul Chodas knew something was strange about the near-Earth object that had been designated 2020 SO.

It should have been just another of the tens of thousands of space rocks that astronomers have spotted breezing through our neighborhood in space. This solar system rubble is mostly harmless, but scientists identify and track all they can in case an object appears to be on a collision course with Earth. As head of NASA's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, Chodas evaluates observations of these objects every day.

And to Chodas, 2020 SO didn't look like an asteroid. Instead, it looked like something much rarer: an abandoned rocket body that had once ferried a spacecraft to the moon.

"Even on the night it was announced, I said, 'I think this is such-and-such rocket stage. That's my guess, all circumstantial evidence points to that,'" Chodas told Space.com in late September.

China unveils ambitious moon mission plans for 2024 and beyond

China has a mission operating on the far side of the moon and is preparing to launch another this year to collect lunar samples. And the country plans to add to its impressive lunar resume, with a new set of missions to explore the moon's south pole.

Chang'e 6, a backup mission for this year's sample-return launch, is scheduled to head to the moon in 2023 or 2024; Chang'e 7 is planned to launch around 2024 with the dual aims of landing on the south pole of the moon and closely studying the region from orbit. An eighth mission is also in the works for later this decade.

The Orionid meteor shower peaks this week! Here's what to expect.

On a night this past summer, soon after sunset, a number of people gathered at a little-league field, not far from my home, eagerly awaiting nightfall and the appearance of the stars. We had also gathered there because there wasn't much in the way of light pollution and we were afforded a clear and unobstructed view toward the northwest. As the sky darkened, we finally could see it: Comet NEOWISE, displaying a lovely, curved tail.

"Not a bad show, considering we're looking at a cosmic litterbug," I said to the coterie of comet gazers. "Really, what we're looking at is a piece of garbage out in space; think of that beautiful tail as 'cosmic litter'; little pieces of dust and grit left behind by NEOWISE, all cluttering up the solar system."

Partisan Sites Posing as Local News Expand Ahead of Election

The Copper Courier in Arizona and the Decatur Times in Alabama both describe themselves as startup news sites helping to fill the void from the decline of local news outlets across the U.S.

Acronym has been building out the network, called Courier Newsroom, over the past 18 months.
