NL a global leader when it comes to meat substitutes

The Netherlands is a global leader when it comes to meat substitutes, with companies and investors from all over the world turning to the Vegan Valley in the east of the country for its innovative technologies, EenVandaag reports.

Five years ago, the Netherlands counted 40 companies specifically working on meat substitutes. Now there are 72 working on everything ranging from insects as food to plant-based steak.

The world is in a "protein transition" and the Netherlands is a front-runner, FoodValley innovation manager Jeroen Willemsen said to EenVandaag. "Proteins are building materials that every body needs. We often get them from meat and other animal products, but by making and eating meat variations you also get these proteins, without having to burden the earth for it," Willemsen said.

CENSORED: COVID Vaccine Injured Who Regret Their Decisions to Get the Shot and Their Message to You

The COVID-19 experimental shots cause serious side effects, including death.

This fact is not in dispute.

However, when the corporate media covers a story of someone who has suffered a serious side effect from one of the emergency authorized shots, they only interview people who still believe in the COVID Vaccine Religion.

No matter how much these people have suffered, even if they have seen a loved one die after getting one of the shots, they will still claim that they believe in the “vaccines,” and encourage everyone to go out and get one.

If they didn’t say this, the corporate media would not publish their story, because according to them and the “health authorities,” these reactions are “rare,” and they want you to believe that the “benefits” to the shots “outweigh” the risks.

Tesla in fireball crash needs 40 times the water as regular car to put out flames, says fire crew

A fiery Tesla crash in Texas needed 40 times the amount of water to extinguish the blaze than in a traditional gas-powered vehicle, according to the Austin Fire Department.

A Model X electric SUV smash into a traffic light in the state capital before catching fire in the early hours of Thursday.

Fire officials say that the blaze was hard to bring under control because of the battery cells that power the car.

Video shows the car, which has a starting price tag around $80,000, engulfed in flames after the incident in the Tarrytown area of the city.

“They obviously run completely on battery power, so there’s a battery under the frame, which makes it hard to get to. Plus, once it’s burning, they’re extremely hard to put out – they’ll reignite,” AFD Division Chief Thayer Smith said.

Appeals Court Rejects Bayer Bid to Overturn Roundup Trial Loss; Cites Monsanto “Reckless Disregard” for Consumer Safety

Monsanto owner Bayer AG has lost another appeals court decision in the sweeping U.S. Roundup litigation, continuing to struggle to find a way out from under the crush of tens of thousands of claims alleging that Monsanto’s glyphosate-based herbicides cause cancer.

In a decision handed down on Monday, the 1st Appellate District in the Court of Appeal for California rejected Monsanto’s bid to overturn the trial loss in a case brought by husband-and-wife plaintiffs, Alva and Alberta Pilliod.

“We find that substantial evidence supports the jury’s verdicts,” the court stated. “Monsanto’s conduct evidenced reckless disregard of the health and safety of the multitude of unsuspecting consumers it kept in the dark. This was not an isolated incident; Monsanto’s conduct involved repeated actions over a period of many years motivated by the desire for sales and profit.”

Kids Face Masks Cause Cancer — It Even Says So on the Box

In July Dr. Tony Fauci joined his sycophants at MSNBC to spout off about vaccinating children and forcing toddlers to wear facemasks. Fauci argued that children older than 2 should follow the guidelines of the CDC and that unvaccinated children greater than two years old should be wearing masks.

A recent study from the UK found that 99.995% of children recover from the coronavirus.

More children die in car crashes and from drowning each year than from coronavirus.

But the elites want kids to wear masks anyway despite their health concerns.

FDA Approved Heart Pumps Despite Manufacturing and Quality Problems; 3,000 Death Reports, 20,000 Injury Reports Filed

By B.N. Frank

Earlier this summer, The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) took a lot of heat for approving a $56,000/year Alzheimer’s Drug that may not even be effective. Unfortunately, the regulatory agency has a long history of siding with Big Pharma at the expense of Americans. Experts have even blamed the FDA for playing a significant role in the “Opioid Crisis”. Now the agency is being blamed for putting thousands of heart patients at risk...

Apple’s Plan to “Think Different” About Encryption Opens a Backdoor to Your Private Life

By India McKinney and Erica Portnoy

Apple has announced impending changes to its operating systems that include new “protections for children” features in iCloud and iMessage. If you’ve spent any time following the Crypto Wars, you know what this means: Apple is planning to build a backdoor into its data storage system and its messaging system.

Child exploitation is a serious problem, and Apple isn’t the first tech company to bend its privacy-protective stance in an attempt to combat it. But that choice will come at a high price for overall user privacy. Apple can explain at length how its technical implementation will preserve privacy and security in its proposed backdoor, but at the end of the day, even a thoroughly documented, carefully thought-out, and narrowly-scoped backdoor is still a backdoor.

And We Should Trust ‘The Science’ of the Pharma Industry?

The forever-head of the US NIAID, Tony Fauci, has repeatedly demanded that the public “trust the science” as he shifts his own science opinion from one positon to another. What is never mentioned in mainstream media in the West or almost anywhere in the world is the scientific record of the major global vaccine making pharmaceutical giants. In short, it is abysmal and alarming in the extreme. That alone should prohibit governments from pushing radical untested experimental injections on their populations without extensive long-term animal and other testing to assure their safety.

US EPA Buried Internal Report Linking Glyphosate to Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

A newly uncovered confidential U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) report found “suggestive evidence” linking glyphosate to Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a determination that goes against the agency’s long-held public regulatory stance that glyphosate is not a carcinogen.

Why would the agency charged with protecting public health and the environment go against its own science and allow a probable carcinogen like glyphosate to remain in use? According to Intercept journalist Sharon Lerner, agrichemical industry giants like Monsanto (acquired by Bayer AG in 2018) have successfully “hoodwinked, bullied, and persuaded” the EPA to base chemical regulations on inaccurate science that favors industry at the expense of public health.

Ammunition imports are way up, but at least one U.S. manufacturer is exporting ammo. All while the pandemic, social unrest and a rise in violent crime have prompted millions to buy guns for protection or to take up shooting for sport.

Vaccine Lobby vs the Unvaccinated: The Global COVID-19 Faultline May Now Be Unbridgeable

By Dr. Mathew Maavak

When the global COVID-19 vaccination drive kicked off earlier this year, two distinct faultlines gradually emerged, separating the relatively monolithic pro-vaxxer camp from the more heterogeneous assemblage of fence-sitters, sceptics and outright vaccine refuseniks. The new divide reflected a larger chasm that has prevailed since the watershed event of Sept 11 2001. It was a divide between those who lapped up mainstream narratives and those who instinctively questioned them.

Doubts over the novel coronavirus were sown from the onset by scientific data which appeared sketchy, contradictory and outright dodgy. Big Tech’s digital pogroms against undesirable questions and expert opinions reinforced suspicions further. It was clear that earnest scientific inquiry, which thrives on vigorous debates, will not be tolerated...

Some of the best-rated electric cars run out of power after only two-thirds of their claimed battery range - and in worst cases have 77 MILES wiped off on a full charge

A test of ten of the latest EVs in showrooms revealed that some fell just 3 per cent short of the quoted ranges, while others missed theirs by as much as 29 per cent, according to What Car? magazine.

While a new £25,000 Fiat 500 was furthest shy of its official range in terms of percentage points, a £50,000 Ford Mustang Mach-e - which has a tested range 20 per cent less than advertised - posted the biggest disappearance of miles.

With a claimed range of 379 miles and calculated real-world measurement of 302 miles, it means 77 miles is wiped off what the sales brochure says it can do on a full charge - that's around the same distance to drive from London to Southampton.

Shrinkflation, Inflation’s Sneaky Cousin, Is On The Rise

By Klajdi Bregu

Inflation has been on the rise for the past year and in the last few months it has accelerated. In June 2021, inflation, measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), hit the highest level since 2008. By inflation, economists refer to the increase in the general level of prices, which means that prices on average are increasing. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) has a basket of goods and services that it tracks and uses to create a measure of the CPI. While inflation is the topic of the day in the news media and everyday conversations, many have not heard about its sneaky cousin, shrinkflation.

The term shrinkflation, is credited to British economist Pippa Malmgren, and refers to the shrinking weight of the products while the price for the package remains the same...

18 of the Worst Drug Recalls in History

Whether taking an over-the-counter (OTC) drug or one prescribed by a doctor, patients generally assume that medications are safe. How the drug got its approval by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates the safety of medicines sold in the United States, is not usually questioned.

The agency, which effectively oversees $2.4 trillion of the U.S. economy, issues warning letters about the safety of drugs that are already on the market. These warnings are at their lowest level since 2008.

Still, a recent report shows that about a third of the medications permitted on the market by the agency between 2001 and 2010 had safety concerns issued later on. These included three withdrawals, 61 boxed warnings — which are meant to call attention to serious risks associated with the drugs — and 59 safety communications. Medications prescribed to treat mental illness and those subjected to an accelerated approval process had more problems.

Family Farm Action Alliance Releases Report to “Counter Big Ag’s Deception”

By Kenny Stancil

In an effort to inform policymakers, advocates, and the public about the impacts of agrifood corporations on the U.S. food system and build support for transforming the nation’s agricultural practices, the Family Farm Action Alliance released a new report on Wednesday that details how Big Ag’s survival depends on externalizing costs and perpetuating myths about the supposed lack of more just and sustainable alternatives.

“Time and time again family farmers, rural communities, and good food movement advocates have pushed to shift government support away from industrial agriculture and toward a more resilient and equitable system,” Joe Maxwell, president of Family Farm Action Alliance, said in a statement. “Time and time again, we have failed—because Big Ag controls the narrative. Our report offers a playbook to counter Big Ag’s deception and finally break their stranglehold on our food system.”...

Popular sunscreens recalled over cancer-causing ingredient; FDA investigating

Neutrogena and Aveeno recently pulled several of their sunscreens from market shelves after independent testing revealed that they had been contaminated with benzene, a chemical that is known to cause cancer. The National Cancer Institute reports that exposure to benzene raises a person’s risk of developing leukemia as well as other blood disorders.

The FDA is now investigating how the toxic chemical ended up in the sunscreens. Spokesman Jeremy Kahn said: “The root cause of the benzene found in recalled sunscreen products is the focus of ongoing investigation. We will continue to monitor sunscreen manufacturing and marketing to help ensure the availability of safe sunscreens for U.S. consumers.”

How Science Lost the Public’s Trust

‘Science” has become a political catchword. “I believe in science,” Joe Biden tweeted six days before he was elected president. “ Donald Trump doesn’t. It’s that simple, folks.”

But what does it mean to believe in science? The British science writer Matt Ridley draws a pointed distinction between “science as a philosophy” and “science as an institution.” The former grows out of the Enlightenment, which Mr. Ridley defines as “the primacy of rational and objective reasoning.” The latter, like all human institutions, is erratic, prone to falling well short of its stated principles. Mr. Ridley says the Covid pandemic has “thrown into sharp relief the disconnect between science as a philosophy and science as an institution.”

The Sweet Stevia Conspiracy

Competition for Market Share

For me, the story of Stevia begins at the time of the Ford Administration during the early ’70s, shortly after Ford pardoned Nixon for his crimes. Donald Rumsfeld is the Secretary of Defense, while Dick Cheney serves as Chief of Staff under President Ford. Then President Carter takes office in 1977. Warnings have been issued specifically for “home assistants” and security devices from Amazon, Google, and other companies as well. For those who want to dispose of these devices, it’s important to learn how to properly delete all data they have collected while operating in your home. According to a new article from Ars Technica, this is a lot harder than most people think...

“Bad for African Farmers, Bad for the Planet”: How the Gates Foundation Is Driving the Food System in the Wrong Direction

By GRAIN

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has spent nearly US$6 billion over the past 17 years trying to improve agriculture, mainly in Africa. This is a lot of money for an underfunded sector, and, as such, carries great weight. To better understand how the Gates Foundation is shaping the global agriculture agenda, GRAIN analysed all the food and agriculture grants the foundation has made up until 2020.

We found that, while the Foundation’s grants focus on African farmers, the vast majority of its funding goes to groups in North America and Europe. The grants are also heavily skewed to technologies developed by research centres and corporations in the North for poor farmers in the South, completely ignoring the knowledge, technologies and biodiversity that these farmers already possess.

Experimental Assessment of Carbon Dioxide Content in Inhaled Air With or Without Face Masks in Healthy Children | A Randomized Clinical Trial

JAMA Pediatr. Published online June 30, 2021. doi:10.1001/jamapediatrics.2021.2659
Many governments have made nose and mouth covering or face masks compulsory for schoolchildren. The evidence base for this is weak.1,2 The question whether nose and mouth covering increases carbon dioxide in inhaled air is crucial. A large-scale survey3 in Germany of adverse effects in parents and children using data of 25?930 children has shown that 68% of the participating children had problems when wearing nose and mouth coverings.

Washing machines and dishwashers will last longer and be easier to repair under new rules for manufacturers coming into force TODAY

Manufacturers must make home products such as washing machines and dishwashers easier to repair under new standards coming into force on Thursday.

White goods and televisions will be cheaper to run and last longer as a result of the new energy efficiency rules to tackle 'premature obsolescence' – a short lifespan deliberately built into an appliance by manufacturers which leads to unnecessary and costly replacements for the consumer.

Manufacturers are now legally obliged to make spare parts for products available to consumers for the first time – a new legal right for repairs – so that electrical appliances can be fixed easily.

Why Big Pharma Wants Human Vaccine Factories

By Julie Beal

Not all coronavirus vaccines use mRNA or DNA. Some of them contain ready-made spike proteins that are made using synthetic biology. They’re grotesquely unnatural and laced with weird adjuvants that most people have never heard of. The way the artificial proteins are made reveals the short cuts being taken with the mRNA/DNA versions and why calling them vaccines is the equivalent to saying a home-brew kit is the same as a glass of wine.

Does Paraquat Weed Killer Cause Parkinson’s Disease? U.S. Judge Sets Trial in Litigation against Syngenta

A federal judge appointed to coordinate proceedings for claims that Syngenta AG’s paraquat weed killers cause Parkinson’s disease said Wednesday she was setting a jury trial date for Nov. 15, 2022.

U.S. Judge Nancy Rosenstengel of the Southern District of Illinois issued the order in an initial hearing with lawyers from multiple firms who are representing people alleging their exposure to Syngenta’s popular herbicides caused them or family members to develop and suffer from the dreaded neurological disorder.

There are 157 cases pending in state and federal courts around the country, according to a June 22 court filing. The plaintiffs allege Syngenta was aware of the risks but failed to warn users.

Syngenta, which is owned by a Chinese chemical company, has denied the allegations.

Along with Syngenta, the defendants include Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LP, and Chevron USA, Inc. All have denied any liability.

Document dump shows that Big Tech is most definitely censoring Americans at the behest of Big Government

It’s not just a left-right issue. Whether Republicans or Democrats, there is an actual written agreement between Big Tech and at least one state government to censor people who are critical of politicians. The Deep State documents are now a matter of public court record, made available by Dr. Shiva Ayyadurai. And according to the court record, the judge presiding over the case has insisted on the documents being entered into the public record because they are absolutely revolutionary.

Are We at the Inception of an Inflationary Depression?

Well, for the world to have reached such a precarious situation as I have painted above, the problems have to be deep-rooted, fundamental, and long-standing. That is the case, and as Mises said during 1951, the origins can predictably be traced to the Central Banks.

US Ruling Class to Peasants: No Babies For You!

Aside from chemical warfare waged by the corporate state on the civilian population, there is another major cultural factor to explain the decline in birth rates: neoliberal corporate-state propaganda. -- Notice that Huffpo, nor CNN, nor Vanity Fair, nor any propaganda organ of the corporate state ever writes articles glamorizing the family. Indeed, quite the opposite: Motherhood – the primary, godlike, immaculate biological function of the female sex necessary for the furtherance of the human species – is, at this point, an act of rebellion, a sort of Holy War waged against the anti-human forces of the blooming technocracy.

MONKEYING with satire speech: Mailchimp suspends The Babylon Bee for ‘harmful information’

Facebook recently announced upcoming updates to its “satire exception” to its “Hate Speech Community Standard,” warning that “true satire does not ‘punch down.’” One week later, Slate published an article claiming that — you guessed it — The Babylon Bee “has a nasty tendency to punch down.” Facebook had previously demonetized the satire site, claiming that a satirical article that quoted Monty Python and the Holy Grail constituted an incitement to violence.

Johnson & Johnson Leaves Opioid Business and Settles Lawsuit with the State of New York

By B.N. Frank

Johnson & Johnson is having a rough few years. In April, the company’s one-dose COVID vaccines was “put on pause” for a week because it had been linked to blood clots.

More recently the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear a case brought by the company challenging the 2018 ruling in favor of women who developed cancer after allegedly using its talcum powder.

Of course it’s not the only company with a long history of including toxic ingredients in personal care products. It’s also not the only company that has been sued for its opioid products. However, the company has decided to stop making them...

Smart Meters “quietly broadcasting data” That May Reveal What Infrastructure Was Protected During Texas Snowstorm

By B.N. Frank

American opposition to utility “Smart” Meters – electric, gas, and water – has been ongoing due to safety and privacy concerns. Because “Smart” Meters are 2-way wireless transmitting, they allow utility companies to collect customer usage data 24/7 which they can use to try to sell more products and services to customers and/or sell the data to 3rd parties to do whatever they want with it.

“Smart” Meters also allow them to remotely control services as well as ration customer energy use. Utilities can’t do this with traditional 1-way analog meters. Because of the 2-way wireless transmitting feature, “Smart” Meters are also at a high risk for cybersecurity issues. A hacker recently used the vulnerability of smart “Smart” Meters to learn more about what happened during the Texas snowstorm...

Kids’ Apps That Don’t Comply with Data Collecting Regulations Make Targeted Advertising Easy

By B.N. Frank

Experts have been issuing warnings about kids’ excessive use of screens and social media since long before the COVID crisis. In fact, for many years already “Silicon Valley Parents” (including Bill Gates and the late Steve Jobs) have gone to great lengths to protect their own kids from exposure.

Unfortunately, this has not deterred Big Tech companies and its proponents from continuing to create and market products to children. Parents concerned about their kids’ privacy may be alarmed to learn how much of their personal information is being collected and used...

Theme Park Operator That Collected Customers’ Fingerprint Data to Pay $36M

By B.N. Frank

Illinois has a state law that protects residents’ biometric information. Six years ago a federal lawsuit was filed against Facebook for violating this law by using Facial Recognition technology in its “tag suggestion” services. Eventually, the company agreed to pay $650M to settle the lawsuit. Now Six Flags has to pay for being creepy...
