Glenn Greenwald: "Professional jealousy" keeps media "silent on Assange"

Glenn Greenwald, the co-founding editor of The Intercept, slammed the lack of coverage of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange's case in mainstream media, saying that "professional jealousy" as well as a desire not to criticize the Biden administration has kept several news outlets "silent."

Greenwald joined Hill.TV’s “Rising,” on Tuesday to weigh in on Assange's case after the WikiLeaks founder spent his 50th birthday in jail as calls for his release mounted.

"I don't think [the media] likely are going to start paying attention to this case in large part because they don't regard Julian Assange as being part of their club and therefore don't understand or don't care about the grave press freedoms posed by this indictment and the precedent it could set that could allow them and their own work could be criminalized," Greenwald said.

YouTube’s Search Algorithm Directs Viewers to False and Sexualized Videos, Study Finds

YouTube has instituted many changes over the past year to limit the problematic videos it recommends to viewers. A new study suggests the repairs have a way to go.

Software nonprofit Mozilla Foundation found that YouTube’s powerful recommendation engine continues to direct viewers to videos that they say showed false claims and sexualized content, with the platform’s algorithms suggesting 71% of the videos that participants found objectionable.

The study highlights the continuing challenge Alphabet Inc. subsidiary YouTube faces as it tries to police the user-generated content that turned it into the world’s leading video service. It is emblematic of the struggle roiling platforms from Facebook Inc. to Twitter Inc., which soared to prominence by encouraging people to share information but which now face regulatory and social pressure to police divisive, misleading and dangerous content without censoring diverse points of view.

Once again, the ‘NYTimes’ covers up Israel’s efforts to instigate the U.S. into conflict with Iran

ournalists are supposed to have subjects in their reports. You aren’t supposed to write, “It was said.” Instead: tell us who said it.

New York Times senior reporter David Sanger forgot that principle last week in his biased and inadequate account of the Biden administration’s Iran policy. Sanger suggests that Biden wants a broader “comprehensive” nuclear agreement, (although the Times article is vague about whether the U.S. wants to replace the 2015 deal or follow it with an additional pact).

Here’s how Sanger’s report failed Journalism 101:

“It is increasingly clear that any comprehensive agreement . . . must also cover a broad range of new weaponry that Iran’s forces were only tinkering with six years ago.”

And: “There is a growing recognition that [an updated agreement] will have to include many of those [new] weapons.”

His editors should have asked: Clear to whom? Who recognizes?

Trump's class action website

America is under threat from ideologies that are eroding our founding principles. The American way of life, including federalism, free speech, and the rule of law, is being undermined and distorted by Big Government, Big Tech, and Big Media. The America First Policy Institute established the Constitutional Litigation Partnership to restore the most fundamental rights of all Americans. The Partnership will fight to rebuild a government that is of the people, for the people, and by the people.

Trump announces suits against Facebook, Twitter and Google

Former President Donald Trump announced Wednesday he is filing suits against three of the country’s biggest tech companies: Facebook, Twitter and Google, as well as their CEOs.

Trump said he was serving as lead plaintiff in the class-action suits, claiming he has been wrongfully censored by the companies.

“We’re demanding an end to the shadow-banning, a stop to the silencing and a stop to the blacklisting, banishing and canceling that you know so well,” Trump said at a news conference at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course.

The suits were filed in U.S. District Court for Florida’s southern district.

Trump was suspended from Twitter and Facebook after his followers stormed the Capitol building on Jan. 6. The companies cited concerns that he would incite further violence. Currently, he can no longer post on either platform.

‘Guess we found who the propaganda worked on’: MSNBC’s Chris Hayes attacked for retweeting Chinese anti-gun cartoon

MSNBC hammered Senator Ted Cruz for supposedly retweeting “Russian propaganda,” but the network’s own Chris Hayes has no problem reposting actual anti-American messaging from China.

Remember Ted Cruz (R-Texas) got himself in trouble with Democrats, neocons and ‘Russiagaters’ for retweeting what they called “Russian propaganda?” Back in May, the Texas Republican drew flak from all sides for retweeting a video comparing one of the US military’s “woke” recruitment ads with a more macho offering from Russia.

Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) Speaks Out On Reining in Big Tech and Why Many House Members Refuse

Last June, the House subcommittee overseeing antitrust law issued a comprehensive 450-page report that concluded that four Silicon Valley companies — Facebook, Amazon, Google and Apple — are classic monopolies. It was by far the most in-depth and serious governmental attempt in the U.S. to grapple with the unprecedented and increasingly concentrated power of these tech giants.

An Ugly War Among Leftist YouTubers Shows Two Common, Toxic Pathologies Plaguing U.S. Politics

An incredibly vicious and protracted war is being waged, seemingly with no end in sight, among numerous prominent liberal and left-wing commentators who work primarily on YouTube. The conflict erupted on May 26 when Cenk Uygur — the founder and long-time host of The Young Turks, the largest liberal-left YouTube platform — baselessly and falsely accused independent journalist Aaron Maté of being “paid by the Russians,” while his co-host, Ana Kasparian, spouted innuendo that Maté was “working for” unnamed dictators.

Review: The Obamas’ Netflix Series ‘We the People’ Is a Woke ‘Schoolhouse Rock’

Imagine Schoolhouse Rock crossed with a corporate diversity seminar — along with a little acid — and you’ve got something close to Netflix’s We the People — a ten-part animated series from Barack and Michelle Obama that seeks to “reframe” how children think about the U.S. government, American history, and civic engagement.

The best that be said about this superficial civics lesson is that each episode is only five minutes long. The series brings together psychedelic animation and instantly forgettable songs to teach kids about citizenship, voting, taxes, and activism. In case you were wondering which way the political winds are blowing, the musical line-up includes left-wing stalwarts Lin-Manuel Miranda, Andra Day, Janelle Monae, and Bebe Rexha.

Jewish FBI Agent Infiltrates Bible Study Group; Then Tries to Entrap Its Members

The family of 27-year-old Fi Duong thought they escaped government oppression when they left Vietnam. They were wrong.

According to an FBI criminal complaint, Duong has been closely surveilled by the FBI for the past six months, including while he engaged in religious activity.

In conversations with undercover FBI agents, Duong held that he entered the Capitol on January 6th to film the events in a journalistic capacity. The man was a member of a Virginia-based Bible study group that Jewish Joint Terrorism Task Force special agent Jason Jankovitz decided to open up a domestic terror probe into.

Agents repeatedly tried and failed to snare Duong into a Molotov cocktail plot because he owned multiple empty glass bottles. They were not able to charge him for any explosives related crimes, but the New York Times and various other outlets are reporting him as a terrorist anyway.

Inventor of mRNA technology removed from Wikipedia after he warned against taking COVID jabs

Information about the inventor of the mRNA technology used in certain COVID-19 vaccines was removed from the online encyclopedia site Wikipedia after he publicly warned against giving the experimental gene therapy vaccines to young people and that there was insufficient information about the injections to give informed consent.

Dr. Robert Malone, M.D., M.S., discovered RNA transfection and, while he was at the Salk Institute in San Diego in 1988, invented mRNA vaccines. His research was continued the next year at Vical, and between 1988 and 1989, Malone wrote the patent disclosures for mRNA vaccines.

On June 10, 2021, Dr. Malone joined biologist Bret Weinstein, Ph.D, on the Dark Horse Podcast, where Malone raised numerous safety concerns about the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, both of which use mRNA technology. He warned about future autoimmune issues caused by the spike proteins within the mRNA injections.

The Horrifying Rise Of Total Mass Media Blackouts On Inconvenient News Stories

Two different media watchdog outlets, Media Lens and Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR), have published articles on the complete blackout in mainstream news institutions on the revelation by Icelandic newspaper Stundin that a US superseding indictment in the case against Julian Assange was based on false testimony from diagnosed sociopath and convicted child molester Sigurdur Thordarson.

FAIR’s Alan MacLeod writes that “as of Friday, July 2, there has been literally zero coverage of it in corporate media; not one word in the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NBC News, Fox News or NPR.”

“A search online for either ‘Assange’ or ‘Thordarson’ will elicit zero relevant articles from establishment sources, either US or elsewhere in the Anglosphere, even in tech-focused platforms like the Verge, Wired or Gizmodo,” MacLeod adds.

‘Tucker Carlson is the new Alex Jones,’ says CNN host and ‘Russiagate’ conspiracy theorist Brian Stelter

As CNN’s Brian Stelter flounders in the ratings next to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, he’s brought out the serious accusations against the Fox host: that Carlson is working “in cahoots” with notorious conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

As CNN’s chief media critic, Stelter regularly focuses his attention on Carlson, who he’s branded an icon of “white male rage and resentment,” a “conspiracy theorist,” and “the new Donald Trump.” Audiences don’t seem to care, however, and ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight’ pulled in around 2.8 million viewers every night in June, compared to the 786,000 who tuned in to Stelter’s ‘Reliable Sources’, which has lost viewers every month since President Joe Biden took office. Though the two host shows at different times, they are both seen as representatives of their networks’ political stances.

Outrage at NPR after it criticized Declaration of Independence

NPR has sparked outrage on social media by calling the Declaration of Independence 'a document with flaws and deeply ingrained hypocrisies' on July 4.

The broadcaster publishes and reads on air the Declaration every year to mark Independence Day but this year included a warning that also pointed to 'a racial slur' within the document.

In an online article, NPR stated: 'Over the past 32 years, Morning Edition has broadcast a reading of the Declaration of Independence by NPR staff as a way of marking Independence Day.

'But after last summer's protests and our national reckoning on race, the words in the document land differently.'

New York Times keeps book about CENSORSHIP off its bestseller list, disgruntled publisher complains to media

Regnery Publishing is accusing the New York Times of purposefully keeping a book on censorship off its bestseller list because the work is authored by conservative pundit Michael Knowles.

‘Speechless: Controlling Words, Controlling Minds’ by Knowles has already topped bestseller lists on Amazon and Publisher’s Weekly (and sold nearly 18,000 copies in its first week of release). Despite its success, though, it does not meet the standards to appear as a top 15 bestseller on the New York Times’ list.

“It is our observation that the books that tend not to make it onto the Times list when you would expect that they would, tend to be books that are not congenial to the New York Times worldview,” Regnery publisher Tom Spence told the Daily Caller, accusing the Times of playing politics with Knowles’ book.

Google, Facebook & Twitter Threaten To Pull Services In Hong Kong Over "Vague" Doxxing Law

The big three internet and social media companies Facebook, Twitter and Google have warned the Hong Kong government that they could quit the city altogether if new controversial data protection laws ostensibly to "combat doxxing" are pushed through. The Silicon Valley giants reportedly made their stance known "privately" according to reporting in The Wall Street Journal Monday.

Without doubt the new proposed legal amendments to existing data protection laws are closely related to the pro-China crackdown which has for many months utterly stifled the kind of large-scale pro-independence protests which defined much of 2019. Facebook, Twitter and Google's anger over the possible beefed-up law centers on the part that would make them liable for revealing individuals' private information online. Also in the cross-hairs is Amazon.

'Wikipedia Is More One-Sided Than Ever' Writes Disaffected Co-Founder Larry Sanger

“All encyclopedic content on Wikipedia,” declares a policy page, “must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV).” This is essential policy, believe it or not. Maybe that will be hard to believe, if you have read many Wikipedia articles on controversial topics lately. But it is true: neutrality is the second of the “Five Pillars” policies that define Wikipedia’s approach to the craft of encyclopedia-writing. Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales made a statement that Wikipedia now regards as definitive. “Doing The Right Thing takes many forms,” he wrote, “but perhaps most central is the preservation of our shared vision for the NPOV and for a culture of thoughtful diplomatic honesty.”

Yes, Wikipedia is very earnest about its neutrality.

UFO ‘news’ is just clickbait

Yes, UFOs and “little green men” are fun and have inspired tons of entertaining fiction. But the US intelligence community was entirely right to dump all over the conspiracy theories and “They’re really out there” nonsense in its report on sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).

NASA boss Bill Nelson admitted that we may not be “alone” in the universe, but the odds are overwhelming that any intelligent “neighbors” are far, far away.

The report didn’t explicitly rule out extraterrestrial activity as an explanation for the 144 UAP sightings by military pilots and other federal workers since 2004, but it also provides zero evidence supporting alien theories.

DC AG SUBPOENAS FACEBOOK FOR DATA ON ALL USERS THAT HAVE SPREAD “COVID-19 MISINFORMATION”

The District of Columbia (DC) Attorney General (AG) Karl Racine, a Democrat, has subpoenaed Facebook for a wide range of records related to “COVID-19 misinformation” on the platform.

The subpoena was filed on June 21 and demands that Facebook identify all groups, pages, and accounts that have violated the platform’s far-reaching COVID-19 misinformation rules.

It also calls for Facebook to release an internal study that looked at vaccine hesitancy among its users. Media reports on this study in March claimed that it showed that non-rule breaking Facebook content may be causing “substantial” harm.

If Facebook were to comply with this subpoena, it would likely impact millions of users. Facebook has removed more than 18 million pieces of content from Facebook and Instagram for violating its COVID-19 misinformation rules and applied warning labels to more than 167 million pieces of COVID-19 content.

Key Assange Witness Recants—With Zero Corporate Media Coverage

A key witness in the Department of Justice’s case against Julian Assange has admitted that his entire testimony is false, a revelation that could be the death knell for US attempts to prosecute the Wikileaks founder.

The Guardian says people dying from covid vaccines is “proof” that they work

The general public should not worry about all the injuries and deaths being caused by Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) “vaccines” because all of the carnage and destruction is simply “proof” that the injections are working, according to The Guardian.

You read that right: The mainstream media is basically now admitting that the serious adverse events, including passing away, are all the evidence that people need to know that the shots are “effective and imperfect.”

“Don’t think of this as a bad sign,” The Guardian reported, adding that “it’s exactly what’s expected from an effective but imperfect jab.”

In other words, serious injury and death caused by the injections is all part of the plandemic, helping to “flatten the curve” of humanity while tearing down the “old” world system so it can be replaced by the “new.”

Human Rights Groups Are Quitting YouTube Over Its Pro-China Censorship

In yet another glaring example of Google willingly doing China's bidding, YouTube this month agreed to take down multiple videos posted by a well-known China-related human rights organization.

As Reuters recently reported, YouTube initially tried to pressure the group called Atajurt Kazakh Human Rights to censor its content in several videos documenting disappeared Uyghur citizens in China's Xinjiang province, which YouTube interpreted as a violation of its anti-harassment policy given personally identifiable information was present.

Despite the group's videos essentially including detailed news reporting, the Google-owned platform said it had too many strikes against it related to people featured showing their IDs. The organization was asked to blur the IDs.

Another Reason To DELETE Communist Facebook – Network Asks Members To Inform On ‘Extremists’

The Media May Be Responsible for Countless COVID Deaths

Late last year I wrote how a personal bout with COVID-19 changed my perspective and gave me hope that the pandemic wasn’t as dire as many made it out to be. My perspective changed in part thanks to a private practice doctor who had great success in treating COVID. According to him, COVID, if treated early and with a cocktail of various drugs, isn’t the death sentence we’ve been told it was.

As time goes on, it becomes apparent that my doctor friend isn’t the only physician who has this knowledge. The now well-known “COVID Hunter,” Dr. Joseph Varon, has been interviewed hundreds of times on various media networks highlighting the good doctor’s faithfulness and success in saving patients infected with COVID.

We covered the details of the law in Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Signs Law Fighting Big Tech Censorship , and noted it was unlikely to survive legal challenge.

And so it has come to pass. Barely a month after becoming law, a federal Judge just issued a preliminary injunction:

Wikipedia Is More One-Sided Than Ever

“All encyclopedic content on Wikipedia,” declares a policy page, “must be written from a neutral point of view (NPOV).” This is essential policy. Maybe this will be hard to believe—if you have read many Wikipedia articles on controversial topics lately. But it is true. Neutrality is the second of the “Five Pillars” policies that define Wikipedia’s approach to the craft of encyclopedia-writing. Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales made a statement that Wikipedia now regards as definitive: “Doing The Right Thing takes many forms,” he wrote, “but perhaps most central is the preservation of our shared vision for the NPOV and for a culture of thoughtful diplomatic honesty.”

Yes, Wikipedia is very earnest about its neutrality.

Soundcloud reverses ‘permanent suspension’ on Antifa riots reporter Andy Ngo, journo pulls his content anyway

Soundcloud reversed the suspension of reporter Andy Ngo’s podcast on their platform only days after being accused of censoring it for political reasons.

Ngo, best known for his coverage of Black Lives Matter riots and his ‘Unmasked’ book on Antifa, first accused Soundcloud of permanently suspending his podcast without explanation this week.

Ngo took to Twitter to reveal he was informed by Soundcloud through email that his podcast, ‘Things You Should Ngo,’ was being suspended for “violating” the site’s community guidelines.

According to the platform’s terms of use and community standards, users must not post content that is “abusive” or “libellous” that incites violence or discrimination. Soundcloud did not specify how specifically Ngo’s podcast had violated their standards, but Ngo pointed to the fact that many of his guests are popular targets of liberal pundits, including authors Jordan Peterson and Dave Rubin, when revealing the suspension.

America is doing a pretty good job of undermining its own democracy – it doesn’t need any help from the Iranian media

The ethnic and political strife we’ve seen recently in the US is a product of its own making. The Iranians may be clever, but I don’t think outlets such as Press TV can stoke that, so why has Washington seized their websites?

In a blistering effort to support “freedom” in Iran, the US authorities recently seized the web domains of its international media networks Press TV and Al-Alam, along with those of a host of other outlets. Of the 36 seized, 33 were operated by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU), allegedly controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Quds Force, which the US designated as a foreign terrorist organisation in 2019.

Amazon Studios’ new ‘playbook’ makes it official: diversity – not talent, skill or merit – is what now matters in entertainment

The document is shameless in its disdain for artistry and individuality, and its zealous worship of all things woke. But if it persists in putting identity politics above art, Amazon is dooming itself to cultural irrelevance.

The entertainment industry and the art of cinema took a gargantuan step on their relentless death march into the hellscape of the woke Mordor recently, when Jeff Bezos, the Sauron of Amazon Studios, released his new “diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) playbook”.

How to Challenge Online Censorship

For much of this year, independent media – including Global Research – has felt the sting of increased online censorship”, in the form of a “crackdown on news that challenges official government narratives”.

We started publishing almost 20 years ago.

Our thanks to our authors from all major regions of the World, from all walks of life, from committed independent voices, journalists, scholars, scientists, medical doctors, lawyers, college and high school students, human rights and anti-war activists, environmentalists.

Biased algorithms, manipulated search engines and online censorship are now threatening an archive of more than 100,000 article by almost 25,000 prominent authors and analysts, who have contributed to Global Research (in English, French and Spanish as well as in other languages).

CNN Reporter Booed After Asking Trump About Apology For Capitol Riot

CNN’s Jim Acosta asked Donald Trump whether he would apologize for his involvement in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol on Wednesday, but only ended up getting booed by the former president’s followers.

Trump was in Weslaco, Texas, with Gov. Greg Abbott (R), to presumably discuss border issues (but really just to foment more falsehoods about the 2020 presidential election being stolen) when Acosta asked the question.

Since the House had just voted to form a select committee to investigate the ?attack, Acosta’s question was relevant.

But that didn’t mean Trump would bother to answer it.

Nolte: CNN Loses More Than Half Its Audience in Just Three Months

Between the first and second quarter of 2021, far-left CNN, a hate outlet that spreads conspiracy theories and champions political violence against conservatives, lost more than half of its already minuscule audience.

During the second quarter of 2021, CNNLOL wasn’t even able to attract an average of a million viewers during its dreadful primetime hours. Only an average of 914,000 primetime viewers tuned in.

Over that same period, throughout the total day, CNNLOL managed to attract only 654,000 viewers.

Compared to this year’s first quarter, that’s a second-quarter collapse of 53 percent during primetime and a 51 percent collapse during the total day.

Yep, in just three months, CNNLOL lost more than half its audience.

Stefanik Cracks Jokes On CNN's Expense

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., seemed to enjoy the ratings drop that CNN anchor Jake Tapper has experienced in recent months, taunting him and his "unwatched show."

"The Lead with Jake Tapper" has shed a staggering 75% of its audience since the liberal network underwent a January surge in rating.

Tapper’s program averaged 2.8 million viewers in January but settled for only 706,000 in the 4 p.m. ET time slot from May 31 through June 23, losing three-quarters of its audience in the process. Tapper’s second-quarter viewership is down 49% as opposed to the first quarter.

Nickelodeon Ratings Crash after Pushing Obscene Homosexual Propaganda to Children

There's growing evidence that Nickelodeon's hard push to promote the LGBTQ agenda to children is having a negative impact on the network's ratings.

In the last two weeks, both Nickelodeon and its preschool-targeted network, Nick Jr., have released videos championing "trans," "queer," and "pansexual" inclusion. One video that sparked mass outrage depicted a cartoon version of drag queen Nina West singing about various LGBTQIA groups "[loving] each other so proudly" on "Blues Clues and You," a show for two- to five-year olds. That same video showed a female-to-male transgender beaver who appeared to have post-operative surgical scars on its chest.

In a separate live action video Nickelodeon posted to YouTube last week, West explains the meanings behind various LGBTQ Pride flags through a song. These latest videos come after the network began overtly celebrating "Pride" month several years ago and implied in 2020 that its most popular character, SpongeBob SquarePants, is gay.

BREAKING: White House Refuses To Admit NSA Is Spying On Tucker Carlson, Psaki Dodges Question

The White House is refusing to say whether or not the National Security Agency was in fact illegally monitoring the electronic communications of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Aboard Air Force One en route to Wisconsin, a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki if the National Security Agency was spying on Tucker Carlson as was revealed on his show last night. Psaki dodged the question and refused to answer it, referring the reporter to the intelligence community instead. “Tucker Carlson said that NSA is spying on him, is the administration aware of any espionage or listening efforts on US citizens by the NSA, and is Tucker Carlson one of them?” asked the reporter.

Warmongering British Actions in the Black Sea

The pre-positioning of the BBC correspondent on HMS Defender shatters the pretence that the BBC is something different to a state propaganda broadcaster. It also makes plain that this propaganda exercise to provoke the Russian military was calculated and deliberate. Indeed that was confirmed by that BBC correspondent’s TV news report last night when he broadcast that the Defender’s route “had been approved at the very highest levels of the British government.”

Reuters Study: America Has the Least Trusted Media In The World

A Reuters study has found that nowhere is the media less trusted than in America where fewer than one in three people have any form of trust in the institution.

MSM TRIES TO CONVINCE THE PUBLIC DEATHS FROM COVID AFTER BEING VAXXED MEANS THE SHOT IS “EFFECTIVE”

You just can’t make this up anymore. The mainstream media is literally trying to convince people that even though most “COVID-19” deaths are those who have been fully “vaccinated,” that just means the “vaccine” is “effective and imperfect.”

Wait, so if most people who die of COVID-19 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, how in the world is that “effective” on any level? The puppets in the media actually expect us to believe this nonsense. The less sense it makes, and the worse the news about this “vaccine,” which is actually an experimental gene therapy, the more they seem to push the shot.

Federal Authorities Are Using ‘Disinformation’ as a Pretext To Silence Foreign Policy Dissent

June 22, 2021 should go down as a dark day in the history of the First Amendment. On that date, the U.S. Justice Department seized control of dozens of Iranian websites. According to a Justice Department press release, the federal authorities seized 33 websites operated by the Iranian Islamic Radio and Television Union (IRTVU), which is "linked" to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. In October 2020, the Office of Foreign Assets Control designated IRTVU as a Specially Designated National (SDN). SDNs are prohibited from obtaining services, including website and domain services, in the United States without a license. The Justice Department charged that such entities "disguised as news organizations or media outlets, targeted the United States with disinformation campaigns and malign influence operations."

Senate Democrat introduces bill to protect journalists from government surveillance

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) introduced legislation on Monday aimed at protecting journalists from government surveillance, weeks after it was revealed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Trump administration had sought the personal phone and email records of reporters from multiple major news organizations.

“The Trump Administration spied on reporters it suspected of no crimes in its hunt to identify their sources and prevent the American people from learning the truth about Trump’s lawlessness and corruption," Wyden said in a statement. "President Biden and Attorney General Garland have pledged to end these surveillance abuses, but the new policies can be reversed by future administrations."

CNN staff angered at news chief’s conflict of interest over Israel ambassador pick

CNN staff are furious after the husband of their top news chief was nominated for US ambassador to Israel — claiming the move is a conflict of interest, The Post is told.

Tom Nides, 60, was nominated to the Middle East role by President Biden earlier this month, the White House announced.

But the nomination has left more than a few eyebrows raised over at CNN as Nides is married to Virginia Moseley, CNN’s “powerhouse” senior vice president of newsgathering in the US.

“People are mad, they see it as a big conflict of interest, even if Virginia works in domestic news, this all still plays into domestic politics and deals closely with Biden’s administration,” a network source told The Post.

“It has conflict of interest written all over it.”

WikiLeaks draws liberal ire after it compares Tucker Carlson to Assange as Fox host accuses NSA of SPYING on him

WikiLeaks came under fire after tweeting in solidarity with Fox’s Tucker Carlson, who recently aired a segment claiming that the NSA had illegally spied on him, as supporters demanded an investigation into the claim.

The anti-secrecy group took to Twitter on Monday to share a section of Carlson’s show from earlier in the evening, adding the caption: “Spying on and coercing journalists is not a new [phenomenon] #Assange #TuckerCarlson.”

WATCH: Tucker Carlson Announces Whistleblower Confirmed the NSA is Plotting to Leak Info and Get His Show Pulled Off Air

Tucker Carlson has revealed that a whistleblower told his show that the National Security Agency is spying on him and plotting to leak information in an effort to have him pulled off the air.

Carlson announced the shocking news on Monday evening’s episode of Tucker Carlson Tonight.

“The NSA is monitoring our electronic communications and is planning to leak them in an attempt to take this show off air,” Carlson said, admitting that it is a shocking claim and normally he would be skeptical of it, as it is illegal for the NSA to spy on American citizens.

YouTube APOLOGIZES, reverses ‘permanent ban’ on pro-censorship pressure group Right Wing Watch

Hours after banning the account of Right Wing Watch for allegedly violating its terms of service, YouTube has apologized and reinstated the Democrat pressure group that argues for censorship of “dangerous behavior” online.

The group, which says it “monitors and exposes the activities of Radical Right political organizations,” found itself permanently banned earlier on Monday for “severe or repeated violations” of YouTube’s terms of service. The Google-owned platform confirmed the decision after an initial appeal, leaving Right Wing Watch furious and conservative pundits gloating about the boomerang effect of their censorship advocacy.

Facebook becomes a $1TRILLION company for the first time after a DC judge dismisses government antitrust lawsuits that claimed firm holds a 'monopoly' over social networking

Facebook's value surpassed $1trillion on Monday for the first time, as the share price rose four percent following the dismissal of antitrust lawsuits bought against the tech giant by the government.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed the complaint brought by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and a coalition of state attorneys general - dealing a significant blow to attempts by regulators to rein in tech giants.

US District Judge James Boasberg ruled that the lawsuits were 'legally insufficient' and did not provide enough evidence to prove that Facebook was a monopoly.

‘You get what you deserve’: Conservatives jeer as pro-censorship group Right Wing Watch gets BANNED on YouTube

Right Wing Watch, an organization that scours the internet to report conservative “bigotry” to Big Tech, has been permanently banned from YouTube. The group has been fuming over the decision, as right-wing commenters gloated.

Right Wing Watch describes itself as a group that “monitors and exposes the activities of Radical Right political organizations.” What that means in practice is RWW combs social media for controversial statements, before explicitly or implicitly calling for the accounts behind them to be banned.

However, tables were seemingly turned on Monday, when RWW itself was permanently banned from YouTube, due to “severe or repeated violations” of the platform’s community guidelines.

“Our efforts to expose the bigoted view and dangerous conspiracy theories spread by right-wing activists has now resulted in @YouTube banning our channel and removing thousands of our videos,” RWW tweeted. “We attempted to appeal this decision, and YouTube rejected it.”

Bill Gates’s stranglehold on the MSM: Part 1

ONE of the puzzles of our New Dark Age is why so much of the mainstream media remains in thrall to Bill Gates now that such a different picture of him has emerged after his wife’s bombshell divorce announcement. The man with questionable morals and a messianic drive to vaccinate the world and ‘save’ it from climate change appears to have survived unscathed.

But you do not have to go far to find an explanation for this unquestioning devotion. His munificence via his pet project, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (GF), has secured him worldwide indemnity. It is not just science and academia, public servants and major charitable institutions that are in hock to the GF. Of strategic importance to him is GF funding, directly and indirectly, of both US and British media.

MSNBC CONTINUES ITS MELTDOWN OVER ELECTION AUDITS.

Afew weeks ago, I wrote an article here about MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough going on a rant about the ongoing Maricopa County, Arizona, audit of the 2020 presidential election. Scarborough stated that anyone who questioned the election results should leave the country.

I described this as an all-time low for MSNBC, but a few weeks later, they topped it: MSNBC’s Chris Hayes described the Maricopa County election audit as “ridiculous and dangerous.” On June 3rd, Hayes ridiculed Pennsylvania GOP State Senator Douglas Mastriano for visiting the Arizona audit. The audit, Hayes said, was an “assault on democracy.”

“They are trying to destroy” democracy’s legitimacy, Hayes said of those who question the election results. The audit is a “mass delusion,” he claimed, that will cause damage and destruction to democracy.

Scientific American magazine removes article detailing Israeli crimes against Palestinians

A US publication has removed an op-ed detailing Israeli crimes against the people of Palestine and calling for solidarity with them.

Scientific American, a popular science magazine in the US, reportedly has done this act under pressure from the Zionist lobby, which is the pro-Israel lobby in the United States.

The magazine published an article earlier this month written by a group of physicians and medical students reporting details of the recent Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza and promising support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, also called the BDS movement which says Israeli and multinational firms complicit in the regime’s crimes must be boycotted.

The BDS movement seeks to raise global awareness about the Tel Aviv regime’s racist policies against Palestinians.

"Those of us who work in health care understand well that health care does not exist in a vacuum," the physicians and students wrote.
