By Brad Polumbo

Proponents of big-government spending and money-printing tried to downplay April data showing surging consumer prices as just a temporary adjustment. But the new data for May are out now, and they show price inflation shooting up even higher...

Lies on the BBC will Result in Children Dying

As you know, the BBC is the most dishonest, disreputable, unreliable media outlet in the history of the world. It’s ageist, sexist, bigoted, unpatriotic and as bent as a paperclip. Over the last year I have recorded a number of videos detailing their errors and distortions. One BBC presenter has even boasted that the BBC will not tell the truth about vaccines – they deliberately suppress those who do tell the truth about vaccines and vaccination. And they do this even when they know that they are suppressing the truth.

There is no secret about why the BBC is hiding the truth. The BBC has close links to the drug industry, the crooked, corrupt vaccine makers, and is, of course, desperate to keep its licence fee by sucking up to the Government.

Now it seems that deceiving adults isn’t enough. The BBC is now deliberately lying to children.

Narrative On Recent Supply Chain Cyber Attacks Already Wearing Thin

There was a moment of sheer hilarity earlier today when, during a Congressional Hearing, the CEO of Colonial Pipeline Joseph Blount took the merely farcical episode of the Colonial Pipeline ransomware hack – when, as a reminder, a ragtag band of elite “Russian” hackers somehow managed to penetrate the company’s cyberdefenses but was so stupid it left most if not all of the $4.4 million bitcoins it demanded in ransom in an easily traceable address for the FBI to track down and magically confiscate (it is still unclear how the Feds got the private key to access the “hackers” digital wallet) in days if not hours – and elevated it to a level of sheer ridiculous absurdity when he told Congress that he didn’t consult the FBI before paying the ransom.

This, pardon the parlance of our times, is complete bullshit: either the CEO is lying or, worse, he is telling the truth and as some have speculated, he, the FBI and the “hackers” are all in on this so-called ransomware breach…

This new Android rival hit 10 million users in just one week

Earlier this week, Huawei announced HarmonyOS 2 — the new operating system that will replace Google’s Android on various smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, and other smart gadgets. HarmonyOS 2 is already compatible with dozens of existing Huawei devices.

For a while, we thought that HarmonyOS would be a brand new, universal OS, similar to Google’s own Android replacement, Fuchsia. But more recent reports have suggested Huawei’s OS isn’t as ambitious, as the Chinese company has just developed its own version of Android, which it hopes to deploy to millions of devices. The rollout is off to a great start, apparently. While western Android fans might not even know what HarmonyOS is, it already has over 10 million users in China.

Taibbi: US shifting to era where some ideas, people deemed 'too dangerous' to have 'civil liberties'

Journalist and author Matt Taibbi on Thursday said that some conservatives and liberals now have a common cause against a new trend supporting the privatization of control over speech, in which some people and ideas are deemed "too dangerous" to be shared with the public.

In an interview on Hill.TV's "Rising," Taibbi responded to criticism recently levied against author and journalist Glenn Greenwald, a former writer at The Intercept, for speaking and providing content to right-wing media outlets.

Taibbi said that this criticism is symbolic of a larger "epistemic revolution," in which a growing number of people believe information should be controlled by "experts."

"In the Trump era, I think there's been kind of a significant philosophical shift to just some things are just too dangerous, some people are just too dangerous to allow to have civil liberties, and what we really need is a group of enlightened experts," the journalist said.

NYU Professor charged with “hate speech” after urging students to investigate propaganda behind mask mandates

A professor at New York University is under attack from 19 of his colleagues. Professor Mark Crispin Miller has been socially ostracized, put through administrative reviews, had his class canceled, and threatened with termination for simply urging his students to investigate the scientific rationale behind the mask mandates. In September of 2020, Professor Miller asked his students to assess the propaganda behind the mask mandates.

Nineteen of Miller’s colleagues conspired against him and signed a letter to the school dean, demanding a review of his conduct. The letter accuses Professor Miller of inciting “explicit” hate speech and “advocating for an unsafe learning environment.” His colleagues libeled his name and claimed that his anti-mask views are an “attack on students.” One student went online and slammed Miller for promoting conspiracy theories.

Another ISIS Member Found In US

A Michigan man pleaded guilty in federal court on Wednesday to conspiring to provide material support to the Islamic State, the Justice Department announced.

Mohamed Haji, 28 of Lansing, pleaded guilty along with two co-defendants, Muse Muse and Mohamud Muse, who admitted to the same offense in January 2020.

Assistant Attorney General John C. Demers of the Justice Department’s National Security Division and U.S. Attorney Andrew Birge for the Western District of Michigan made the announcement.

The charges were filed following an investigation into the three men between December 2018 and January 2019.

The First Two B-21 Bombers Are Nearly Complete—and the Air Force Already Wants More of 'Em

Still, the planes won't fly until 2022.

  • Northrop Grumman is constructing the first two B-21 Raider bombers.
  • While these particular B-21s are test units, the Air Force plans to eventually use the planes as replacements for the Air Force's B-1 and B-2 bombers.
  • The service is pushing for nearly 50 percent more bombers than originally planned.

The first two B-21 Raider bombers—which will eventually be able to carry both nuclear and conventional weapons—are nearly mechanically complete, but still won't fly until 2022.

The U.S. Air Force's (USAF) bomber program, designed to field a replacement for the B-1 Lancer and B-2 Spirit by the late 2020s, is on track. That's a rarity in the world of military hardware procurement. Still, Congress is calling on the service to accelerate the program; USAF isn't budging.

The 9th Circuit Considers Whether the DEA's Classification of Marijuana Violates Federalism and the Separation of Powers

The puzzle of marijuana's Schedule I status invites a reconsideration of the agency's vast discretion to decide which substances should be prohibited.

Nearly five years after the Obama administration promised to end the federal government's longstanding, anomalous monopoly on marijuana for medical research, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has tentatively approved applications by several independent suppliers. But the DEA still maintains that the plant belongs in Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), a category supposedly reserved for especially dangerous drugs with no accepted medical use.

The Justices’ Blocked Path

It has been widely speculated that the Supreme Court might rule in the Mississippi abortion case by upholding the challenged law while stopping short of overruling the Roe/Casey line of cases. Pro-lifers would then win the case without getting the larger victory we want: a declaration by the Supreme Court that the Constitution does not forbid legislatures from extending the basic protections of the law to unborn children. But we could console ourselves that the Court was leaving open the possibility of delivering that victory later, and was even setting up that possibility. It is further thought that this type of ruling (I’m going to refrain from any allusion to King Solomon) would be the politically safest choice for the justices.

Adam Schiff says Trump broke rules brought in after Watergate when DoJ secretly seized Apple data from him and US House Intel Committee colleague Eric Swalwell to discover who was leaking about Russia investigation

  • Justice Department prosecutors seized metadata records from Apple in 2017 and early 2018 for accounts belonging to Rep. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell
  • They did so after Donald Trump - who was then president - flew into a rage over leaks about conversations between his aides and Russian officials
  • The Justice Department even secured a gag order against Apple preventing them from telling the lawmakers they were being investigated
  • The seized data ultimately did not tie members of the House Intelligence Committee to leaks to the press
  • The gag order finally expired this year and Apple told the committee members that they were investigated last month
  • Speaking on CNN Thursday night, Schiff said he was 'shocked but not surprised' by the 'terrible abuse of the rule of law'

Indiana Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Man Battling Asset Forfeiture of His Land Rover, Compares State’s Pursuit of Vehicle to ‘Captain Ahab’s Chase of the White Whale

The Indiana Supreme Court on Thursday issued a blistering ruling that allowed a man to keep his Land Rover in a case about excessive fines and the limits of civil asset forfeiture.

The facts are fairly straightforward but the controversy, in a legal sense, has been twisted and contorted over the course of nearly eight years due to the government’s keen insistence on taking Tyson Timbs’s vehicle away from him and claiming it as their own.

In 2013, the State of Indiana filed a civil forfeiture complaint on the suspicion that Timbs had been using his Land Rover for drug dealing.

He actually had. His father recently died and Timbs received a life insurance settlement–some of which he used to buy the SUV; some of which he used to buy heroin after becoming addicted to opiates following a prescription for painkillers. Most of the mileage on the vehicle was racked up driving to and from drug meets.

Eventually the cops caught wind and arranged two undercover buys.
