Durham Releases Thousands Of Fresh Documents Amid New Street Talk

In his criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation, court filings show, special counsel John Durham provided 81,000 pages of findings to indict Democratic lawyer, Michael Sussmann.

The piles of papers, which show details from grand jury subpoenas sent to 15 people, and movements likely including opposition research firm Fusion GPS, was produced this month after lawyers representing Sussmann. Sussmann denies any wrongdoing and demanded more information while calling the allegations that he lied to the FBI five years ago 'vague and confusing'.

A grand jury returned an indictment last month that focuses on a September 2016 meeting between Sussmann and then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in which the lawyer passed along information about concerns of covert communications between Russia's Alfa Bank and the business of former President Donald Trump, who was the Republican presidential candidate at the time.

State Dept Finally ADMITS They Lied About The Number Of Americans Trapped In Afghanistan — ‘It’s Significantly Higher’

Back in August, the State Department claimed that there were “roughly 100” Americans left in Afghanistan after the botched pull out. Today they have admitted that that was a lie.

On Thursday the State Department finally gave Congress a definitive number on how many Americans that are still trapped in Afghanistan living in fear of their lives because our Coward-in-Chief left them behind, and it’s a lot higher than the “100” previously stated:

America Is Now A Kleptocrapocracy

I've coined a new portmanteau word to describe America's descent: kleptocrapocracy, a union of kleptocracy (a nation ruled by kleptocrats) and crapocracy, a nation drowning in a moral sewer of rampant self-interest in which the focus is cloaking all the skims, scams, rackets and bezzles in some virtuous-sounding garb, a nation choking on low-quality junk ceaselessly hawked by robocalls, spam, phishing and Big Tech manipulation.

It's little wonder trust has collapsed in America: the only thing we can trust is whatever's being pitched is deceptively packaged to mask the self-interest and profiteering of the perps.

Biden Says Cops And Emergency Responders Should Be FIRED If They Don’t Comply And Get Vaxxed

During a CNN town hall on Thursday, President Joe Biden bluntly stated that cops and first responders who refuse the Covid-19 vaccine should be fired and lose their livelihoods.

“By the way, I waited until July, to talk about mandating, because I tried everything else possible.”

“Mandates are working.”

Biden to campaign with McAuliffe in home stretch of Virginia governor’s race

McAuliffe’s campaign announced Thursday that Biden will headline a rally at Virginia Highlands Park in Arlington on Tuesday evening.

The appearance will mark the second time that the president has campaigned in the state for McAuliffe, a longtime friend who held the state’s Executive Mansion from 2014 to 2018. Virginia prohibits its governors from serving consecutive terms, and McAuliffe is only the second to seek a comeback since the Civil War.

Biden won Virginia by 10 points over President Donald Trump last year, but his approval in the state has plunged since the military’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, and as Biden has failed to get Democrats in Congress to advance his domestic agenda.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This may backfire on McAuliffe if Biden goes off on one of his demented rants.

Back when Joe Biden was US vice president, his son Hunter tried to sell “refined analysis” of “networks” of Russian “elites” including aluminum magnate Oleg Deripaska – whose New York and DC properties were just raided by the FBI.

According to a June 3, 2011 email from Hunter Biden to the US aluminum conglomerate Alcoa, he offered a “statistical analysis of political and corporate risks, elite networks associated with Oleg Deripaska” and a “map of OD’s networks based on frequency of interaction with selected elites and countries.” His asking price was “$25,000 for phase one of the project” and “$55,000 for refined analysis.”

“Historic Victory”: US Judge Rules Guantánamo Detainee’s Imprisonment Illegal

By Brett Wilkins

Two weeks after a review board cleared Guantánamo Bay prisoner Asadullah Haroon Gul for release, a federal judge ruled this week that the Afghan’s imprisonment by the U.S. military in Cuba for over 14 years without charge or trial is illegal.

In a ruling still undergoing classification review, Judge Amit P. Mehta of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday granted Gul’s petition for a writ of habeas corpus, making him the first Guantánamo detainee in over a decade to win such a case against the government...

Bill Gates and the Uncertain Future of Food Security

By Dustin Broadbery

As we approach a winter of discontent and global food systems go from bad to worse, there’s trouble in paradise.

At the root of these problems, government responses to COVID-19 have contributed to a six-fold increase in famine-like conditions as global supply chains collapse, and field trials for gene-edited crops and farm animals begin in the UK.

Against this perfect storm, the UN’s World Food Systems Summit convened last month, with Member States joining the private sector, civil society groups and researchers, to bring about “tangible, positive changes” to the world’s food systems, and as the story goes, “drive recovery from COVID-19.”

The FDA's War Against The Truth On Ivermectin

On July 28, the Wall Street Journal ran our article “Why Is the FDA Attacking a Safe, Effective Drug?”

In it, we outlined the potential value of the antiparasitic drug ivermectin for Covid-19, and we questioned the FDA’s vigorous attack on ivermectin. Many people praised us and many criticized us. We had clearly covered a sensitive subject. It didn’t help that one of the studies we referenced was retracted the day our article was published. Within hours of learning that fact, we sent a mea culpa to the Journal’s editors. They acted quickly, adding a note at the end of the electronic version and publishing our letter. It’s important to address two criticisms of our work. The first is that we exaggerated the FDA’s warning on ivermectin. The second is that Merck’s stance on ivermectin proved that even the company that developed ivermectin thought that it doesn’t work for Covid-19.

First, we didn’t exaggerate the FDA’s warning on ivermectin.

Court Rules In Favor Of Republicans In Dispute Over Illinois Redistricting Maps

A federal court has ruled in favor of Illinois Republicans over a lawsuit filed in June disputing a legislative redistricting plan by Democrats in the General Assembly.

House Republican Leader Jim Durkin and Illinois Senate Republican Leader Dan McConchie filed the lawsuit to challenge legislative maps drawn by Democrats and signed into law by Governor JB Pritzker.

“The Court declares that the June Redistricting Plan, Public Act 102-0010, violates the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution,” the court ruling stated.

The Republican’s lawsuit asserted that that because the legislative maps were drawn using American Community Survey (ACS) population estimates, rather than the final 2020 census enumeration data, the maps cannot ensure the populations are equal as required by the 14th Amendment’s Equal Protection Clause and its one person, one vote rule.

Florida Governor Calls for Special Session to Counter Vaccine and Mask Mandates

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Oct. 21 called for a special legislative session to consider bills countering vaccine and mask mandates.

The move follows a series of CCP virus vaccine mandates imposed by the administration of President Joe Biden. This does not sit well with the Florida Governor, and he has “had enough” of federal interference into state business, Christina Punshaw, Press Secretary told the Epoch Times.

The legislative proposals include the provision of reemployment assistance to people who are fired due to failure to comply with an employer’s vaccine mandate. Under another proposal, Floridians who have an adverse reaction to a vaccine would be eligible for workers’ compensation.

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice scolded Democratic lawmakers on Wednesday and told them they need to stop whining about the Capitol riot on January 6 and focus on real issues.

Seventy-eight percent of Republicans think that Trump should run in 2024 for president. I don’t think Mitch McConnell wants that. I don’t think so. Democrats Cut Spending Package To $1.9 Trillion, Drop Free Community College

President Joe Biden and Democrats continue to negotiate the final price tag of their spending package where both sides believe an agreement can be reached between $1.75 trillion and $1.9 trillion, after removing free community college and curtailing the child tax credit.

The slimmed package will still include priorities such as universal pre-K and an expansion of Medicare. Billions will be allocated to address climate change, but parts of the climate agenda will be scaled back. Paid leave will be cut from 12 weeks to four, and less money will be allocated toward affordable housing than initially envisioned, while eldercare and insurance tax credits remain on the table. The child tax credit would only be extended for one additional year, according to reports.

House Democratic Retirements Pile Up as Party Fears Losing Majority

The quickening pace of Democratic retirements in the House may be the clearest indication yet that the party’s hopes of maintaining its narrow majority are fading amid President Biden’s sagging approval ratings, ongoing legislative struggles and the prospect of redrawn congressional districts that will put some seats out of reach.

In recent days, Representatives John Yarmuth of Kentucky, David E. Price of North Carolina and Mike Doyle of Pennsylvania have announced they will not seek re-election. In all, a dozen House Democrats have said they will retire or seek other offices next year, including powerful lawmakers like Mr. Yarmuth, the chairman of the Budget Committee, and members from the most politically competitive districts, such as Representatives Ron Kind of Wisconsin and Ann Kirkpatrick of Arizona.

Biden’s EPA Faces Lawsuit for Illegally Stacking Science Advisory panels

Legal Insurrection readers may recall that in September, in a break from “presidential norms,” the Biden administration asked 12 officials appointed to military service academy advisory boards by former President Donald Trump to resign or face dismissal.

That isn’t the only havoc Biden has been wreaking among important government boards, either. A new lawsuit claims Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael Regan has illegally fired dozens of independent scientific advisers from two key committees earlier this year and replaced them with academics dependent on the agency for grant money.

Stanley Young, a statistician who has worked on pharmaceutical research and is a former member of the EPA’s Science Advisory Board (SAB), alleged in a complaint filed in Washington, DC federal court Thursday that the March 31 purge by Regan showed that the agency “has a problem with dissent.”

Terry McAuliffe’s Colossal Blunder Earns Him the Ire of Parents

It was the gaffe heard ’round the commonwealth.

Democrat Terry McAuliffe, who wants a second chance at ruining Virginia, committed a blunder of colossal proportions during a recent debate against his Republican opponent, Glenn Youngkin. McAuliffe said parents shouldn’t “be telling schools what they should teach.”

Yes, amidst a headline-making, state-wide uprising of parents who’ve had it with their children being made political pawns by radical school boards and woke school officials, McAuliffe dared to tell these parents, in no uncertain terms, to buzz off.
