Epstein-Related Sexual Assault Lawsuit Against Prince Andrew Filed In U.S.

A lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. against Britain’s Prince Andrew by Virginia Giuffre, who claims that she was forced to have sex with him at the London home of Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell – who is currently in jail facing charges of sex trafficking.

Giuffre’s lawyers sent the suit on Monday – Prince Andrew has long maintained no wrongdoing.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

How come this claim even has mileage seeing as the alleged offence happened in London when the woman was over the age of consent in the UK (i.e. 16) and the supposed incident was consensual?
