A new forensic investigation has concluded that an Israeli sniper would have seen that Shireen Abu Akleh was a member of the press when she was shot and killed. 

The Israeli military killed the Palestinian-American journalist in May while covering an Israeli military raid in the Palestinian city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank. 

Representative Rashida Tlaib is demanding an investigation into the murder of Al-Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh and for progressives to rethink their support of Israel. A recent report on the killing found that Israeli forces intentionally murdered the Palestinian-American journalist. 

It started with a fingerprint of a 25-year-old college professor who opposed the Vietnam War and ended with a search for his remains, 32 years later, in a wooded area near Eveleth, Minn.

The FBI's files on Paul and Sheila Wellstone, many of which are being made public for the first time, shed new light on the extent of the relationship between the FBI and the political activist who would go on to become a U.S. senator from Minnesota.

Despite many complaints, appeals and critiques, the infamous Ukrainian website “Myrotvorets” remains active on the internet. The site exposes the personal data of thousands of people considered enemies by the Ukrainian neo-Nazi regime, making it the largest public kill-list ever witnessed. The most terrible point of this situation is that hundreds of ethnic Russian children are included in this list. Russian diplomats demand a position on the part of UNICEF on the matter, but international organizations remain silent.

On 6 September 2022, a conference organized by the Anti-Repression Foundation entitled “Information Gestapo: Ukrainian nationalist website Mirotvorets lists are used to suppress free speech and repress journalists” took place in Moscow”.
