Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is known for disagreeing with former President Donald Trump 

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will be named the next secretary general of the North Atlantic alliance. The White House backed his ascension to become NATO’s top civilian official. Rutte will replace outgoing Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

Following the latest weather and choppy seas setback, the US-built aid pier off Gaza has resumed operations as of the end of this week (Thursday), the Pentagon said, after it broke apart last month. It's been an on-again off-again situation and the controversial and costly pier project has by and large proven ineffective.

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy has made a number of significant breakthroughs in improving its capabilities, according to recent interviews with personnel marking the 70th founding anniversary of the country’s submarine force. In an interview with the state run China Central Television (CCTV), submarine detachment captain Wen Xuexing provided insight into progress in submarine capabilities, stating: "We have achieved historic breakthroughs in terms of maritime verifications on our torpedo attacks and missile attacks.
